Suboxone has saved my life! I use the tablets though, but will be switching to the film soon. I take 32mg a day. I am using it for opiate addiction, and also for chronic pain. Thanks for your video. I subscribed to your channel. ;0-)
Don't forget that Suboxone/Subutex treats PAIN--back pain, headaches, neck and shoulder pain--and should be prescribed as a long term alternative to Oxy or some other narcotic. dependence.
@reececup33 yeah, if it's methadone your trying to kick. Methadone withdrawl is the worst hell imaginable. Withdrawl can easily kill a weak body , or force you to kill yourself to avoid the symptoms.
@UNTC321 i tapered slowly from methadone and had little or no problems. the hard part for me is staying clean now and not going back on methadone or using whatever i can find on the street.
Longtime Suboxone patient here! 8mg a day, & have been alcohol and illicit drug free now for past 5 years! I go to meetings, work with sponsor, work steps, and have a clean productive life... Suboxone saved my life on numerous occassions. I have seen several bottles of Vics, percs, Oxy, etc the past 5 years and SUBOXONE gave me the extra strength to pass it up and say NO to CRAVINGS. $50 month is a lot cheaper than $100 a day heroin addiction. Thanks Suboxone.
I don't know why they make it so hard for people to get access to Suboxone. With the epidemic of modern day opiate addiction, it should be over the counter for gosh sake.
The stuff is nothing like methadone. There is ZERO euphoria or pleasure derived from Suboxone. Only MILD/moderate relief of horrible withdrawal.
i just came off suboxone. i am getting a naltrexone implant tomorrow. suboxone is very addictive and only buys you time. please use it for short term and look into VIVITROL and NALTREXONE..you have to be clean or it will make you sick. but i finally made and am fortunately blocked for two months. please Dr. provide other treatments after suboxone. it controls people's lives too and is soooo hard to come off of. worse than coming off lortab.
yes yes, thank you. now i know i have made it through the worst addiction i have ever experienced. I love your avid interest in educating the public on very important topics. keep up the great work Dr.
@elchlobot dude why would you go on suboxone if you were only addicted to fucking lortab you should never go on methadone or suboxone if you were only addicted to that because they are even more addictive methadone and suboxone treatment is reserved for ppl that IV heroin or use oxycontin
these pills make me constipated and irritable and just unfocused and doped, of course... never been my thing unless im in extreme pain, of course in which case I rather use cannabis .
I agree, drug addiction largely starts with mental health issues, happy healthy people have little interest in drug abuse. I can see some addiction coming from chronic pain conditions but many are unaware how painful mental illness can be and the lengths sufferers will go to find relief.
im curently on methadone,,,,pretty much saved my life ,,,but i would like to get away fr the methadone without being to sick ... perhaps this could be a way ...any info on this product in canada? thx
Suboxone works very very well. It is prescribed often here on the East Coast. I'm glad you made this video. Few people in the general public know of suboxone and how effective it is. Very very effective.
