I wish we could run this engine all the way from Moscow to Vladavostok or the other way I had it on a special last year also we did up around the artic circle we ran to St Petersberg and Archangel ,Murmansk amoung other places with assorted engines including this one and a few 2-10-0s and a CY 2-6-2 and we did a double header with the 4-8-4 and the CY 2-6-2 together that was cool laying in bed at night listening to thse engines working together and the whistles I have rode in the cab of this one

@Railplanets yah two years ago we stoped outside of Moscow and the electric locomotive was took off and out of a large yard appeared this locomotive and a black 2-10-0 we doubleheaded into the final leg into Moscow it was great especilly seeing the faces of the people when we pulled into the Moscow depot

this train is So beautifull with a matching consist like this the Russian version of the Orient Express I had a great time rideing this train and we got suprised on the trip into Moscow several miles outside Moscow we stoped and the Electric engine was took off and this was added along with a 2-10-0 for our final part of the run into Moscow

Sweet someone posted a video on the Trans Siberian Golden Eagle this was my very first Russian passenger train I ever rode from Vladavostok to Moscow
