  • Rest well O'man of God rest well!

  • I also remember Hugh Rose when I was a teenager. My parents bought his first recording: a 45 RPM record. On one side was the song, "The King and I", and on the flip side was the song, "I Was There When it Happened."

  • It is wonderful to be able to see Hugh Rose sing in this video. Thank you for posting it!

  • this is amazing!! My mother said the choir as led by Hugh Rose was what led her to the Pentecostals in Indianapolis many, many years ago. I remember being in that chuch a few times in the 60's and hearing him sing. I could feel him ministering thru song even though I was so young at the time.

  • I used to like to hear him sing this song at General Conference, especially the line that says, "my brrreath my sunshine". A very talented singer. Thanks for posting this video.

  • My family is deeply connected to Bro. Rose. My grandparents were friends of his and my mother and her sisters were taught by him at Calvary Tabernacle. A one of a kind, he has always been a hero of our famly. They sure don't come like that anymore.
