It was confusing too because she could have a ponytail which is only for females but has a flat chest. Plus certain girls moves like Anna's slap don't effect her. Plus Heichi's certain move on males work on her. But it was proven by the game creators and wiki that she is female. Idk why some people don't like her. They're just haters.

Actually Leo is not a girls name, it is a male name, and saying it is female because it is German is wrong,because it can be short fort Leopold; not only that but it was a popular boys name in Germany , and according to MULTIPLE sources in Germany it is described as a male given name that is SOMETIMES used for girls. In all honesty it's up to Namco to decide what Leo will become (that's if they ever do), but until then more proof points to boy. So try again, because the name ain't it -_-

In fact, I've only heard people calling the character female officially (being the official Tekken website during the time Tekken 6 was new). Not to mention, the voice is an easy way to tell. She has a very feminine voice and as the character is 19 years old I doubt a post pubescent guy would sound that way. She also uses female voice traits in Tekken Tag 2 as she speaks her native German.
