Need an emergency heart surgery? They give you End-of-life counciling should you have to wait so long for surgery that you die waiting.
Oh and stop the bs about only the rich to get healthcare in the US. If you're poor, u can get E.R. service if needed, u can also sign up for charity care if u have an illness and don't have the money to treat it. The charity care in the US is about as good as the Canadian system. I am not rich -- nor are my co-workers at the company I work for and we all have a good healthcare insurance provider. Canadians still come here when they need treatment. So much for Canadian-style healthcare.
I am a Hospice Nurse (RN USA). If a person goes on hospice and changes their mind they can drop the hospice service and check into the hospital for whatever treatment is needed. Over and over and over and over and over. What da hell is the ding bat talking about ????

I think she did look like someone who was lost in showing her views.I however think Obama pushed through a bill not fully written.There are a lot of unknowns that no one knows yet. I just went through medical training and there is a lot of fears with the prezs plans. It sounds good but in my viewpoint it should've been more clearly written...as it is now parts are still being written. Total bs, I have many relatives who live in Canada who originally went there from the Ukraine, I lived and worked in Canada for a year; a few family members migrated here to the US in the 1940s I here and saw firsthand nightmare stories about the Canadian healthcare system and it's limited, ultra-managed services it offers to it's citizens. Need an emergency heart surgery? They give you End-of-life counciling should you have to wait so long for surgery that you die waiting.

If you're poor, u can get E.R. service if needed, u can also sign up for charity care if u have an illness and don't have the money to treat it. The charity care in the US is about as good as the Canadian system. I am not rich -- nor are my co-workers at the company I work for and we all have a good healthcare insurance provider. Canadians still come here when they need treatment. So much for Canadian-style healthcare.

In O'Reilly's show, the liberal is always the one being mocked, and in Stewart's show, it's the conservative. If government run systems are so terrible, why do we allow them to wage war for us, maintain our nuclear arsenal and pass the laws that we live by. umm maybe because we are in the worst recession in 80 years. You can't come out of a recession with no debt that is just fact. This depression was caused by bush and his failed economic policies.

it is actually, cause bush pumped millions into the economy with out any regulation on what would happen to it. It isn't a depression well since it is almost as bad as the one 80 years ago and that was a depression well whatever i'll call it a "recession". His spending dwarfs pres. bush cause he has boosted and stimulated our economy severely the jobless rate may have gone up but the dow has gone up also. Every thing if rising besides jobs and the republicans won't listen on that one

I don't think there is a real debate though. Do we want a British style system? If so fine. But americans are not british. How will americans react to mammagrams at 50 instead of forty? Or older people not being given certain diabetic treatments? If americans don't mind to save money fine. That would save money but I'm uncomfortable with. Of course if we started losing weight we could save TREMENDOUS AMOUNTS.

ron paul supporter. this plan will not work. it does not address the reason health care cost are going up. demographics, immigration, printing money(inflation), the loss of manufacturing jobs. Its great if this bill stops insurance companies from dumping people but about 30 percent of my dads practice is charity. One thing i would be for is raising taxes on soda, booze, french fries, and the other shit we eat. (like cigs, that stopped me)not a very good libratarian
