You can put a bullet in the chamber with a loaded mag with this gun you just gotta push the bullet down on the top until the bolt gets past the back of the bullet.

Sad that you cant get that gun in 308. I prefer the shorter action of the 308.

You can get it in .308, either the 70's vintage . OR You can get a 700 SPS ($450 in .308 - usually with a scope combo - and have O.S. and a wood stock thrown on it for around $185)  That would bring it to around $635 which is cheaper than most BDL's around my world.

i cringed when the guys says its off safety and ready to shoot, but doesn't bother to correct the shooter who has his finger on the trigger with the safety off and is not ready to shoot. also noticed he doesn't know much about his gun due to the fact he doesn't know how to manually load one in the chamber with a full magazine, all he needed to do was instruct the shooter to depress the rounds in the magazine while moving the bolt forward. but these are just my observations.

@BurroBurrito1 your "observations" are duly noted in the video annotations, it was the first time i had loaded the firearm and the first time i fired the rifle. your concern is misplaced. next thing you would be bitching about is why we dont have earplugs in. it is the same in all off my videos. just watch it the damn video. i only have these things on youtube for my entertainment. not yours.

@gh0strider117 my concerns were not pointed towards the shooter but towards the person who is trying to instruct the shooter (camera man) but does not know safety precautions. If someone doesn't know he shouldn't teach. and i can give a fuck less if you wear ear plugs as i do not, but you did not need to reply in a snotty ass attitude, and if the video is intended for your enjoyment only and not others then you shouldn't upload videos as you will get criticized for the actions you do wrong.

part of the entertainment value in the videos i put on here is the comments, i could just disable them all the videos i put on here but i like to read what people put on here. it is just when ALL the comments are the same, just telling me what i or my friends did wrong like your some high and mighty safety warden, it gets a bit grating.

u hold the gun and put ur elbow in the strap and bow your arm out in will greatly improve an open sight shot gurantee! "gadam buoy erybody know dat" and if you wana take care of it try not shooting alot unless theirs hair in the sights.

Cool i want an iron sighted .30-06 in memory of them springfields of ww2. Did yall have a gunsmith add the iron sights?

It's a sling, not a strap and you supposed to make use of it when you shoot.

And bring the rifle up so alittle of the but stuck is above your shoulder, so you don't strain your neck when youre aiming down the sights. And the higher you can get your right arm up in a chicken wing form helps your aiming too. You should beable to hold the rifle up with just you right hand. You left wrist should be flat not bent. And give a slow squeez. Everyshot you fire should feel like a surprise. :) just some tips.

Never take the shoulder strap off. You can use it to steady your aim.

You can load one in the chamber and then push down on the blip and slid the bolt forward. I always do that with my 06..just a hint

I got a .303 which I think is louder then some 30-06's I've shot in the past,Either way though they are both loud as hell.Listen to this though.I was at the range the other day and the guy on the bench next to me was shooting a .22-250 ( First time I heard of it ) But that LITTLE TINY ITY BITTY gun was almost twice as loud as my .303!! and the 30-06!!! even with ear plugs every time he shot my ears rang.Good vid man keep shotting.WEAR EAR PLUGS!
