I think the point is.....he should be using his social networking skills to connect to the kind of people that would positively impact his business (esp. those with international finance expertise who know merger arbitrage and can start monday).

@bobfet1 huh, if you listen it is promoting web.2.0 the crux is he dosent have enough freinds or at least not enough of a variety of contacts to help network for this job. it was quite a precise request and if social networking is to become truly effective you will need many thousands of friends or contacts who then you have to be in contact with on a regular basis, so maybe the joke is it would be impossible to be real friends with all those people. as many ppl claim to be.
