  • what if u dont have enough courage

  • Hey! I'm having problems getting distance, I only get about 5ft past the kong, got any tips on how you work on getting a further distance?

  • Hey Jessie, could you do any other vaults to a precision? For example speed vault to precision? If so could you upload a video of you doing one? Cheers

  • @PkMonkey01 you certainly can one of my favs is the reverse to precision I have one of those in my video "It doesnt count"

  • @LaFlairParkour that looks really tough

  • Can u help with kong vaults?

  • Hey Laflair. If you didn't already... can you make a tutorial about how to get past the fear and mental blocks of performing both parkour and freerunning techniques? I've already gotten past to the intermediate level but it was stressfully difficult getting past these mental blocks alone.

  • hey jesse,i'm a huge fan, but i'm pretty new at this stuff and i cant do kongs becuase i keep thinkin my feet r gonna clip and i'll land on my face, what could i do to get over this????????

  • @panzershrekboy practice monkey vaults first...it's the same thing without the dive...just try to hop up onto an obstacle through your arms...keep doing that and than put a little momentum behind it and see how far you can get doing that...then just get up the courage and go for the dive part...it's not too hard, i got it down in like a week but hey everybody's different....plus i'm kinda a monkey ( i can jump high) lol

  • you kong properly but when you land you need to lean forward

  • @TehGFXEditor You are actually perfectly wrong, I'm in jesse's advanced parkour class so don't try to argue. When you go into a precision from a kong you are actually supposed to lean back so your feet can get to the ledge easier and your momentum will bring your body towards your feet, if you lean forward after landing you're just going to over-do it and push yourself of the ledge.

  • hey jesse i'm 11 years old and I can't make a pull up and you say if you can't do a pull up you can do a climb up but I can't can you make a more detailed tutorial about the climb up.

  • wall run tut and keep it up nice tuts x thumbs up x

  • Im trying to get my kong to precision down but it's hard to determine how far i need to kong, because it's a little different than just doing precisions. Is there another way you recommend practicing without me missing and hurting myself??

  • @03Jones03 Practice on the ground, make a target and land on it

  • At about 3:00, there was an Asian looking business man walking buy that looked at you as you hit the precision, you should have done a Gainer just to mess with him xD

  • What was your worst fail/bail? Just curious.

  • very helpful man...but i noticed that u do the 1 foot take off wen konging... wut do u suggest for sum 1 hoo duz a 2 foot punch take off wen they kong??? ty

  • @ta2Rtist22m I would recommend instead of punching, try to work your way into a running Kong by doing the Skip-Step approach, it's kind of a mix of both, but much more efficient

  • @buin234 thanks man, i did however try the 1.2 step take off...just duznt werk aswell as 2 foot punching...it feels more fluent for me..also it halps me go higher/further...idk how or y...lol lotta ppl say it shood b the opposite...evry 1 parkours different i suppose. ty tho

  • @ta2Rtist22m yes i know how you feel, it seems the same for me, it feels much more fluid to punch off. im still trying to change it up though, but yes parkour is different for everyone. train hard stay safe and have fun..,. also dont break your arm like i did :p haha

  • @buin234 lol i heer ya... i over shot a 7 ft pic nic table tryin to kong n grab the far edge... hyper extended my elbow big time... :S still messes me up now n then...but im now content with punchin take offs...its my style..n can change it :S

  • Best parkour tutorials on Youtube. Wallrun please?

  • your kong look like my monkey does that mean that all my monkeys i made is a kong so what is it when you dive over a table and the monkey or kong

  • @thelastair1 A kong is generally a dive, a monkey is just kind of up and over, so over a table would be a Kong, they are very similar though but that's how I would describe it, a Kong has more of a dive

  • @buin234 ok

  • What kind of shoes are those

  • @johnnyjoe84 K-O's

  • Man, Scotland sucks for parkour. It rains every day of the week, and the walls in my town are rough and cut your skin. I still do it pretty well :x

  • This helped me get better at mine, THANKS JESSE!

  • Jesse La Flair are you in a parkour team?????

  • @Etto0001 No I am trying to get on Tempest but I am not on a team.

  • you're making awesome tutorials, man. keep it up.

  • Can you make, like, a cat pass tips and tricks vid? because it's the only vault I had trouble with, then I got one and I was like "FUCK YEAH!", but on higher cat passes I just retard myself and launch up -_-

  • Hi, I love your tutorials, can you make a double kong tutorial?, because im having lots of trouble doing it.

  • if i evar see you i am going to ask so many questions xD

like do you prefer bandanas or the wrist ... uhh stretches tht go on your wrist

err tht was a bad question

  • @TheSandwich300 lol I have been wearing bandanas on my wrists for style ever since I can remember. Long before I did parkour. And then one day I was doing over cats (when you reach over a small ledge to grip it) and my wrists were getting scratched so I made a choice to make it a signature look while helping my arms stay scratch free. =)

  • Lol, all the business people walking around just look at you funny.

  • THATS WHY MY FEET KEEP CLIPPING THE WALL

  • Comment removed

  • what do you mean?

  • @Flynntrix ???

  • first jump on a double*

  • thanks man i think you help me :)

  • love the vids bro keep it up

  • could you just gimme a few tips on how to do a 360 precision

  • Nice. I get where you are aiming for more of a takeoff/height rather than a a leap through to keep going...how do you figure out the distance from the jump though? just wondering, cause the two moves together makes it maybe different?

  • @bloughbrick The key is practicing to flat or smaller k2p's and the more you play and practice the more you will have a better understanding of the speed to distance ratio.

  • where did u get that had great vid btw

  • could u make a video for beginers and were to start off cos i know im gonna over do it the other 2 tutorials realy helpt thanx

  • can you make a kong to cat tutorial?

  • Nice tutorial! Now how about a big kash vault?

  • can you do a tutorial for just the kong?...also.im trying more gymnastic like moves : handsprings, flips, etc....so maybe some tutorials along those lines also?id really apreciate it..oh and btw SUBBED.

  • What kind of shoes do you reccomend for freerunning?

  • when r u going to make another montage

  • Man great thank to you!! I want to say, Im french, and is that possible to make a traduction in french for you're next vids?

  • Dude, can you please do a tic-tac one?

  • @GregHolden10 Adding it to the list!

  • yo jesse, just commenting to show my support, and say that you're one of my fav traceurs, not because your the best, but because you actually show personality more to me. im up in portland and its not raining anymore, (literally 4 months of solid rain :/ ) so im gonna be gettin out again. idk what im saying here anymore so im done lol.

  • HOLY SHIT, were you at the Viper Room last night?!

  • @sniperxr maybe!

  • @LaFlairParkour I KNEW IT! We needa do a run sometime seein as how I'm already bumping into you.

  • @qwiboh I will do one on both! How about that?

  • Are thet good freerun/parkour/"tricking" shoes? Im just doing research on parkour freerun and street tricking shoes...

  • @tomderoon Yea I think there great!

  • Thanks for the tut bro :) planning on doing doing tutorials on tricks too? since i noticed the name of you playlist ''best parkour and freerunnig tutorials''?

  • @unknownmovement Yes I will get to all of that I am going to do a like 12 hour tut day and film a long list of movement very soon.

  • Wasn't that a monkey?

  • @bluedounut Monkeys and kongs are often related as the same move but I consider monkeys when your legs pass through your arms while your hands are still on the object. But to each is there own...

  • yet again very good tutorial.. i like how you didn't do anything to big and show the technique for that, like some ppl doing tutorials do. man i wish i lived in California or somewhere nicer (live in oregon) ... it was coldish and it hailed like 1" today and everything is always wet. when it starts to get dry out ill do a video response with what i learned.. :)

    Keep up the god work!!

  • @Modifyyy Thanks!!!! sorry to hear about the weather, condition in the mean time and kill it when the sun comes out.

  • Can u do a tut for Kong???????

  • @ArT1Tuvsho Coming up very shortly!!!!

  • @ArT1Tuvsho Actually I did but I hated the way it came out, I will be re doing it very soon.

  • how often do you go to the academy

  • @SIRWAF at least once a week I am hoping.

  • I'm a retired teacher, and I really admire your instruction skill. It's rare that anyone can teach anything as well as you teach parkour technique. Very impressive. You're a born teacher.

  • @KaptKan1 Thanks, I actually went to college to teach art got pretty close to my degree and then switched because I want to chase dreams not settle. Thanks it means a lot coming from someone in your position.

  • I so wana learn parkour, I just dont want to break my face. :P

  • @Madmonkeythegreat DO IT but learn and respect your environmentment and begin with the very basic basics and work your way up. Don't try huge stuff on your first day.

  • Hey Jesse, would you mind not telling me to LIKE and FAVORITE your video, thanks :) Great advice but I am rather baffled as to why you would make this TUT with such a dangerous kong to precision for new learners. Thats a great way to show the noobs how to KILL themselves. It seems more logical to have made this tutorial with a level to level kong to precision.

  • @ItsAllJustMovement Relax bud! Trust me if I don't ask people to hit the like and fav button they don't, and then these videos that are intended to help others go no where and people like the 6 comments above and below you miss out on what I believe is valuable information. Also I was asked by one of my viewers for a drop k2p so that is what I made. If you would like me to make a level one I could do that as well?

  • Nice tut man!

  • Hey your tutorials are amazing and really easy to understand. Can you please make a "Wall Run" tutorial?

  • @poopDeckKids Adding it to the list!

  • @LaFlairParkour Thank you so much!!!

  • Hey Jesse, come to Tempest tomorrow :D
