Unfortunately i bought a pair myself in 2000. Despite the good outer design, this equipment is really back. The sound is distorted, the play and cue bottons stick to their housing, most bottons have digital bleed. scratch function is useless, cd load time is too slow.
this was the worst product ever from tascam and it got discontinued, lots of djs inculding myslef ripped off.

practise more ! too short mix between tracks and the worst thing - playing two vocals at the same time !

Sounded decent to me. And a short transition is necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes it's the best thing. But you gotta make it good :P
