  • how can we have ten tousand thoughts in a blink!

  • WaheGuru Ji Ka Khalsa! WaheGuru Ki Fateh!

    SatSriAkal!

  • Pardon my ignorance, but I always assumed the word "guru" referred to a person (someone with great wisdom), but you often seem to use it in many different contexts, and in connection with abstract concepts. Can you explain what the word "guru" means to you?

  • Gu means cave (dark place, where the sun does not shine) Ru means light. So, Guru means light in the darkness. A person who has become the vessel for that light is often called guru. When spelt with a lower case g, guru is like the candle; when spelt with an Upper case G, Guru is like the flame

  • soo cool

  • there are much easier ways

  • Fentastic.

  • guruka singh drops another jewel.

  • What is that mantra he referring to at 11:41, the one he says to recite silently?

  • It is the Mul Mantra: ik-oNkaar sat naam kartaa purakh nirbha-o nirvair akaal moorat ajoonee saibhaN gur parsaad. jap. aad sach jugaad sach. hai bhee sach naanak hosee bhee sach.

  • Thanks.

  • Wow, that's actually kinda of a long mantra. I can't even inhale long enough for one recitation, and can only sustain for one and a half.

  • I wish everyone in the world were like this...

  • I love all of Guruka Singh's videos. They are all great. One day I like to have a darshan of such a Gursikh.

  • Thanks for sharing! I have started down a similar path myself. It was really helpful to hear about the diffculties of meditation. It helped break down preconviced notions of what it is or "should be".

  • awesome
