  • wow.... nice

  • its true, on an airbus320 you can bluetooth into it, and use the tomtom to tell the plane where to go !!!

    (maynot totally be true....)

  • you have got not one but 2 electronic devices on....WOW....thats double time in jail

  • very lol is the woman in background saying, that you should turn off your phone :D

  • do you from where i can download the tom tom for free please let me know

  • frikking great u can see ur speed :P to if plane gets hijacked u can immediatly see if ur of course

  • nice

  • hi my friend i saw ur video witch is awesome i am gona buy this next month is the tom tom is free or we need to buy it or download it from net please let me know it will be great for me thanks have a good day

  • Przerąbane, GPS w samolocie.. nie mam pytan

  • awsome

  • funny to see 850km/h on it :D

  • I'm using GmobileXT with my E50 and E61. Works very well too. The GPS is the LD-3W bluetooth GPS. A joint effort by Nokia and Garmin. Never tried it on an aeroplane tho ;-)

  • I can vouch for this. Tomtom is very responsive on the E61i, faster than any application even text messaging! It's also better than the built in GPS systems like the Nokia N95.

  • how much is this actually?

  • I costs 300€ without branding and without a contract in Germany [geizhals . at/deutschland]

The predecessor E61 is about the same in terms of price althoug the battery runtime is apparently a bit longer.

  • CRAQZY SAZUECE

  • omg I like it software for my Nokia t_t

  • vette shizzle

  • no. it's a great package. never touched it again since i have the iphone of course.

  • Is this GPS software free-to-download? And do they have a fee when you use the GPS? I already have a multimedia phone(N95), and I'm planning to buy a business phone. And I'm routing for this!

  • The sotware is TOMTOM, so no. Although,...not legally anyway,

  • cool!

I'm thinking about buying an E61i, but I'm a little concerned that it will be too large for my pocket. Is this going to be a problem you think?

  • how does this bluetooth reciver work?

And what is it? im getting this phone soon and i just want to make sure i dont need anything other than the phone and tomtom itself.... or do i?

  • what can you tell us about the CPU capabilities of this phone during the GPS test? is it good enough? does it worth buying it especially for GPS puposes?

  • the performance of tomtom on the nokia e-series is really surprising. it is generally faster than all other applications. if you're looking for a good blackberry capable phone with tomtom, then it's a good choice. the nokia built-in gps is worthless. they use old and slow gps receivers. i tested the N95 an it really is a dog. they also conspire with the carries as you have to download map data while moving.

  • Coooool :-)

  • version 6. all of western europe and the u.s fit on the 2gb card.

  • Are you using TOMTOM version 5 or 6?

  • fgutzwiller,

thanks for the reply. Awesome clip man.... 863 km/h!!! hahaha... pretty awesome! :)

Btw, if you can't paste the url, try doing this --> someurl [dot] com and if it's too long, go to tinyurl [dot] com to shorten it to make it easier... :)

    Cheers!

  • squeezed the receiver between the window and the shade.

  • Definitely the best route by TomTom. Don't bother with roads - just fly over them!

  • how did you get the gps fix in the first place? Don't you need access to the sky for that? Or did you have a window seat? :)

    Great clip!!! :)

  • Which bluetooth receiver are you using exactly?

  • original tom tom. can't post the url for some awkward reason.
