I'm from Moscow. She really needs to slow down. Since she has been living abroad for a long time , now she has wrong pronunciation (better to say intonation).

My grandma is teaching me some Russian since I have all Russian heritage, but I'm teaching myself most of it. It really isn't as hard as it looks, you just need to have the willpower to do it. Although, it helps to have someone around to help with pronunciation.
