i've forund a good 99gbp offer on this version and i'm definitely getting this. its what i call a balance between art and technology. the apple players just look good but their audio is pathetic. the iriver has built in SRS WOW!. this player is seriously shocking, beats the industries' walkman in sound! just wish the touch was a bit more responsive.

I think this is a great mp3 for te price ive been weighing up between gettin this and the D2+ (which is 30£ more expensive for the capacity) and tbh they both have unresponsive ui though the p7 is prettier. This has a bigger screen and similar sound quality so for value i think the p7 is a bargain.

The S9 has the same res as the Touch on a smaller screen. I find the res on the Touch slightly desatisfying. The S9's is just right.

Multitouch is a joke. Only good for games, which I don't even use. Who does honestly want to use TWO hands for zooming in websites?...

I was talking about the physical design when saying it looks like hospital equipment (ipods and macs in general).

IMO, the Touch looks very nice, but shouldn't have the chrome oon the back which gets scratched.

The UI looks plain dumb with childish colors on a big bad WQVGA screen.

On the S9 I can have more sophisticated loking grey icons with my own backround.

And the UCI possibilities are endless. You should see how big a change is done to my Now Playing screen...

I know. Maybe they'll fix it with some updates. I hated how slow the picture previews loaded. And did my eyes cheat me, or did it not work to move around on a photo when zoomed in?
