Showering with your dog isn't strange. My Ex and I showered with his dog (not all of us at the same time, one of us alone and the dog) because it was the only way to get her clean. There is a small full grown poodle and he's so cute and adorable. But he's very apprehensive and scared of me. Also dumb. I think he was neglected from the previous owner. I think he shivers as well when held and I approach him. I hope to bond better.
