OMG i never liked uncle john, but he wrote a very beautiful letter for his daughter. After hearing the letter i think it's just very sad he isn't there for Elena (and Jeremy) anymore. Together with this lovely song, this is in my opinion one of the sadest scenes of the show. Love VD.

This is probably the sweetest moment EVER on The Vampire Diaries. They always amaze me when it comes to sad scenes and they ALWAYS make me cry, I love this show! Sometimes i feel like The Vampire Diaries doesnt get alot of credit because people think its another twilight but ITS NOT and i wish more people would see that. This show isnt just about Vampires or Love triangles...Its about alot more then people would ever think.
