@spartamixfan it is litterally my favourite game, but the second in the series (least of joker) is coming out tomorrow, and the game has changed a lot since this one. so if you do plan to get it, get the second one, also cause it has friend codes and a functional wifi as this one doesnt anymore.

@spartamixfan well i preordered the game from Canada before i left. so i'll get it before then, but whenever you do get it, be sure to keep in touch, since it has wifi for the first time. and i'll love to verse people who i can chat do for once. but it also has a random wifi battles too.

@spartamixfan shame, but no professional is the new version of 2 released in Japan on march 11 of 2011, there is no plans for a professional version for the rest of the world. but the professional version has 100 new monsters added as well all the ones from 2.

@mosheahron i was lv 27 here, but all my monsters were about +9 or 10. i would say 40-45 maybe would be a good level, but i would say raise monsters and resynth them to make them stronger.

also i said it many times, S rank and X rank doesnt mean strong in this game. its how you raise them, make sure you get monster that support your style of fighting.

how do u synthesis? and do u keep the monster at the end? and do u lose the grandparents when u synthesis and if so then when u synthesis monsters if they had experience would it go to the new monster?

@mosheahron there is a booth at the centre, you get a new one from synthing unless you make them equip the phoenix staff before synthing. the grandparents update during the chain. and all synthed monsters start at lv 1 again but have a + after each synth, when its +5 you can level them up to level 75, and when its +10 and over, you can level them to 99, when its below 5, they can only level to lv 50.

@mosheahron nope, both leave after synthing, like in the old games, but any equipped items you keep and get put into the bag. but you get a new monster at the cost of 2.

@mosheahron no, i said you get a new monster from the two you use to synth, meaning the 2 'parents' make a kid, and both parents leave, the kid is level one, but you lose the parents after synthing no matter what you do.

and storage is right beside the synthing station.

@Shauny7188 at one of the desks in the back of the center, and the easiest way for getting a healer is from a king slime, and the cleric skill set, the king slime is 4 slimes quad synthed (meaning grandparents have to be 4 slimes shown) and dqmjinfo[dot]com has all the synthing guides you need.

For all of u guys that are having trouble, here is the team I used for Dr. Snapped. The battle was a piece of cake. First, I had a Killing Machine with Multislash or whatever (very useful in indirectly taking out the Tortured Soul and Demon-at-Arms), then Dr Snapped (use his Psycho and Double Trouble to your advantage in this battle) and finally a Metal King Slime (it is possible before Dr Snapped) with Kazap (this will DEVASTATE Dr Snapped). They were lv. 21, 16, and 19.

@Gargos98 I did that! I synthesized Dr. Snapped just to use him to battle Dr. Snapped. It took me a while though, so my game time at the end of the battle was like 40 hours XD.

y'know, it's like the guy you are is mercyful. and monsters show no mercy, cause when you kill a monster by an attack that isnt a one hit KO , it says that the monster is defeated, but when an enamy kills one of your monsters with any move, it says yr monster's dead.

@SylvWolf up yo you to what make best, the mole is attack, the duck is HP and the bat is speed. i went with the mole, but that is cause i've been using him since 2000 on the GBC game. so this always makes me remember how much i love them. but you should pick what you think you would like best for stats.

@PokemonGBASP Demon at arms for me really, that thing can hurt, but the same time the tortured soul hits hard with magic, so i would say kill the tortured soul first.

Overall I think if you just keep synthing and synthing, no matter what level you are you can totally thrash this boss(I had 3 attackers, two of which are healers)

I tried this Battle a few Minutes ago and Holy Crap how many HP does this Guy have? o.O

He killed my two Attackers after I mashed him for what felt like an eternity and two Rounds later my Healer - I think I either need to Level Up some more or change my Team or somthing. o.O

@NightbladeEagle he has about 4100 hp or so i counted before, but he is a very hard boss, i would recommend leveling a bit before fighting him, hes definitely not a person you should be versing at my level(probally least +6 and lv 50 or so or even to 60), hes just a pain and a good end boss. but take out the other monsters first, they do a lot of damage if you let them.

I took out the Tortured soul first, then the Demon at Arms and then started attacking Snapped. That kinda worked but I began wondering after taking about 2000 HP from him why this guy just won't die - then the killed my one of my attackers and about 6 or 7 Rounds I only had my one Attacker and my Healer, then my second Attacker, two Rounds later my Healer.

I know this will take a while - but I think my Team needs to be at least in the 40s to beat him - thanks for telling me.

That was a kinda interesting Battle - I hate this Explosion Magic he has. You were right - that guy was kinda hard but a nice Challenge - I prayed that he won't use the Explosion ^^! .

well congrats ^^ there is one more challange, but hes tougher but easier at the same time, but i would say take it to the wifi, sometimes you find really great original teams, and those are fun. (i used to be, back when i had my first DS game of it) i was ranked as #40 in the world, which was nice, but annoying to get too. but since then my team would of been kicked off and what not, and my new team is about 1000 in the world, which isnt all to bad when you think about it, but the drop was huge.

you synth a giganties and a buffalogre, which isnt bad cause all the buffallgre is, is a A rank and a beast (what i use for him) and you'll get a Boss troll, and heres a secret for you, a easy giganties is this. a silvapithecus from the last dungeon, and ANYTHING under a A rank, and you can scout them as many times as you want.

as for the ace of spades, yes you can get him, you synth a Leopold, which is a regional 1st place win, with a woldspade ace.

megalodon isnt easy to get, but the monsters you have lack growth points but have good stats at the end. but i would try synthing those to get some high ranked monsters, also i would make sure your monsters (like angel slime) arnt weak against darkness attacks.
