Runaround and Metal Mickey - WOW!! I was 9 when this was out.

Runaround was one of the BEST programmes for I would say older kids.

Mike Reid was the BOMB!! GGGGGGGGOOOOOOOO!!! RUNAROUND NOW!!!

Metal Mickey's voice was hard enough to understand on his London Weekend Television. Here in Southampton with the Runaround reverb he is positively unintelligible. Loving the SOUTHERN TELEVISION stickers shoved on the prehistoric Steadicam; hope they peeled them off properly when it was returned off hire!

@fraserkatie No, it's not just you. Even accounting for the fact that this was a kids' show, that was an incredibly noisy studio. I could barely hear what Mike Reid was saying (to say nothing of that stupid 'robot') for large parts of that clip: probably just as well, me old mucker...
