I saw the tribute to Brooks and Dunn on GAC over the holidays and loved this song as done by Faith. I wish that she would release as single because she did a great version of it and did the song and Brooks and Dunn justice.

ahh..faith seemed like she got a little choked up at the end.. I think the song may have had a double meaning for her..I feel like Tim's emotion is of love for faith as a performer.. I mean isnt' that how he met her.. seeing and hearing her perform.. so I would like to think that him watching her perform is what continues to keep their love alive and lasting.. I wish i had a gift to keep my man in love..
This song represents the last five years of my life......the long goodbye started that long ago for me....he's happy and I'm struggling...but it's all good. In order to move forward..I have to take my lumps, learn from my mistakes, and in my new relationship have a foundation of honesty and trust.....Thank you Faith...for singing this beautiful song........

Faith actually struggles with this song. This is a very difficult song to sing. Faith is far too busy in the song, and in a rush. She hurries her delivery. You need to let this song come to you. Ronan Keatings original is brilliant, and Ronnie is equally outstanding as he lets the song breathe in the 2003 single. The problem here is Faith simply isn't the right singer for this particular song. Sure looks great though.
@MrGreycharles I think everyone else disagrees with you.... And even if she does sound rushed (which i disagree with 100%), sheo nly has a certain amount of time to sing the song so its not like she can stretch it out. She looks great and sounds great.

At the very FIRST concert I ever went to, I saw a young Faith Hill open up for Brooks & Dunn in 1994 at the Iowa State Fair. And I've been a huge Faith fan ever since! I love the shot of Tim watching Faith sing. WOW.

"Long Goodbye" just happens to be my favorite song by Brooks and Dunn. And we all know how FAITH is my favorite. This is the perfect combo. She did an excellent job on this song. I love when the camera zooms in on Tim @ 2:29. You can just see the love in his eyes.
