Every day, I do everything i can to counter act what you people do. i drive a few extra miles, i don't recycle, i leave my clothes in the dryer longer than i need to, and on Earth day, i gather everyone i know and have a fire extinguisher party, where i spray as much C02 into the air as i can. when my 50 inch LCD tv breaks, i'm just going to throw it into the dump.
@kingofnecromancy you're a fucker. go ruin someone else's planet, dumbass. cuz we're taking ours back. and why the hell are you watching this if you hate your frickin mother planet so much?
TORONTO — A chunk of ice shelf nearly the size of Manhattan has broken away from Ellesmere Island in Canada's northern Arctic, another dramatic indication of how warmer temperatures are changing the polar frontier, scientists said Wednesday.
Derek Mueller, an Arctic ice shelf specialist at Trent University in Ontario, told The Associated Press that the 4,500-year-old Markham Ice Shelf separated in early August and the 19-square-mile shelf is now adrift in the Arctic Ocean.
One more thing great video again. One thing I love to do is I have my own huge garden in my backyard. I have about 20 tomatoe plants already producing tomatoes. I planted eggplants, zuchini, cucumbers, peas, mint, basil, partzly, peppers, strawberries, lettuce. So I guess you could say I am organic. Plant your own veggies. Its just as easy as buying seeds. Helping the environment. Eating healthy organic food from your own home and dont forget saving money. Go green in 2008.
Recycle, reuse bags, water bottles, etc... Save our earth save your home. Forget politics, religion, and what not. For once think about this. Your true home is earth no matter where you live. Your home comes first. Save it because earth is our life that made it possible for us to exist. Save the polar bears save them. My lovable animals. This home is for all creatures not just us humans. Stop destroying it. Nature will teach us a lesson if we abuse it and its happening now.
Thank you so much for this great video. Great timing. We can solve this problem. Work together and plant a tree. I know I planted two. An apple tree and a weeping willow tree. I even picked out an apple from the apple tree. Yup that small apple tree about the height of 5 rulers made apples. My weeping willow tree is beautiful and hopefully it will grow big one day. So plant a tree. Plant an apple tree, cheery tree... if you dont like regular trees. Not to mention the delicious fruits you get.
I will soon have tomoatoe overload but I always give my neighbors some when I just have too much. I made salad with my lettuce. There so delicious there like a miny snack for me.;)
Global concentration of carbon dioxide is now nearly 385 parts per million. Preindustrial carbon dioxide levels hovered around 280 ppm until 1850. Human activities pushed those levels up to 380 ppm by early 2006.
Rapidly growing industrialization in Asia and rising wetland emissions in the Arctic and tropics are the most likely causes of the recent methane increase, said Ed Dlugokencky from NOAA's Earth System Research Laboratory.
Since 2000,annual increases of two parts per million or more have been common, compared with 1.5 ppm per year in the 1980s & less than one ppm per year during the 1960s, NOAA's Earth System Research Laboratory said.
WASHINGTON — Major greenhouse gases in the air are accumulating faster than in the past, despite efforts to curtail their growth.
Carbon dioxide concentration in the air increased by 2.4 parts per million last year, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reported Wednesday, and methane concentrations also rose rapidly
thanks so much for this! if you dont mind i will be posting some of your vids in my blogs... i will put credit of course and link to you. Just to spread awareness. i salute you!

The Arctic will remain on thinning ice, and climate warming is expected to begin affecting the Antarctic also, scientists said Friday.
"The long-term prognosis is not very optimistic," atmospheric scientist Jennifer Francis of Rutgers University said at a briefing.
Last summer sea ice in the North shrank to a record low, a change many attribute to global warming.
