i cried like a baby. such a powerful scene especially if you watch the ending. i LOVE daneil he easily became my fave character. but i still dont understand why eloise wanted him to go back to the island even when she knew what was going to happen. god when he says "will it make you proud of me?" i like started to bawl! and in the end when she shoots him and he goes "you knew" i cried even harder! ahh faraday come back to us! lol

If Daniel didm't go, he would not have learned about the Jughead and told the Others how to neutralize it, and he would not have told Jack to use it to wipe out the energy at the Swan. The bomb likely stopped the Incident from destroying the Island like Desmond stopped it by turning the key and imploding the Hatch. The bomb brought everyone back to their respective time, to finish the fight against MIB. IF like Desmond Eloise sees the future, she knows it was all necessary.
