It was a wonderful interpretation and aesthetically pleasing. In other words it was sung better than the original group...Youthful Praise, a awesome group, has intonation problems. I know this isn't choral music but gospel music can still be in tune.

Youthful praise is not tone deaf and they don't have intonation problem. This perfomance, like you said, sounds better than the original apart from the noise in background due to not as good recording but is is due to blending the parts better than youthful praise choir and more smoothness...

This choir blended better than youthful praise. I love it. But you still can't say that youthful praise is tone deaf. They can sing! And this is the only performance I've seen that was as good or better (which this is) than the original.

Youthful Praise isn't tone deaf but they definitely need to work on NOT screaming. There is a difference between singing POWERFULLY and SCREAMING, Youthful Praise is good but they need to learn to have more control in regards to singing powerfully and stop YELLING and people...lol

I like the choir's dynamics. Some choirs would be tempted to sing this song at the top of their lungs all the way through but the dynamics actually help to emphasize the message of the song.

This choir done a decent job on this particular song, but if you should ever come to da city of Houston please look out for a group called Ron Summers and the Sounds of Levi. This group gives Youthful Praise a shownuff run, but as always we're not in competition.

Ain't nothing "decent" about this performance. HU clearly showed their butts on this song. And yeah, it's ok to compare choirs. People say it ain't a competition but in a way it is. They're ministering the word of God but that doesn't change the fact that it's still music. U gotta sing it the best to be recognize. HU is obviously one of "the best". Sang ya'll!!!!

Youthful Praise goes out of tune on that entire CD alot I think it was a bad mix, but the goo dthing is they hit all the notes..they dont slide into to them. Howard does a good job but I definatley wouldnt say they sound better then YP the sopranos are good but a lil sharp.. not trying to crtitic...just an observation..please dont take offense..I could use more weight from the tenors but the altos were OK
