@TehMountainMan Well aside from this debacle of an angle that stoops below WCW 2000 levels, the product is relatively far superior as compared to the past two years. Punk is a breath of fresh air, they might tweak Cena(finally?), and Rhodes and Ziggler continue to impress. Of course things can be better but WWE is far from TNA levels.
@ISMASHYOUBRO Certainly, it may be superior, but there is still so much potential with the wrestlers they have and the storylines and rivalries they make that WWE ignores. As a spoiler for Smackdown, Rhodes was fed to Sheamus, and Barrett to Orton. Also, Ziggler was fed to Orton on Raw. The WWE could be doing so much, but instead seems dead-set against building anything out of the talent they have (McIntyre, as well). I can't help but feel that the product is awful as a result.
Well about SD: Rhodes losing to Sheamus did absolutely no harm to him since he lost to a former World champion and Rumble winner in Sheamus whose amidst a huge push. Ziggler lost to Orton in a solid match in order to make Orton look strong going into his match vs Barrett although an interference from Barrett could have happened(though Punk/Bryan had a similar result so it'd just seem repetitive). As for Barrett losing I agree - he deserves the rub to go over clean against RKO.
@ISMASHYOUBRO On reflection, Rhodes may not have been hurt much due to having been put over Booker T and lasting long in the Rumble, I still believe Ziggler has lost a good deal of momentum. He hasn't had a clean win for at least a month, and has been booked to appear as though he can only win dirty, due to losing FOUR times in his match at the Rumble. He can look as strong as possible in a loss, but if all he does is win dirty and lose strong, he doesn't look competent.
