Well put. And I do agree when you mentioned the bad controls. Sonic steers like total ass (I wouldn't be as pissed about it if there wasn't a level in Mazuri that showcased the awful steering mechanics). But yeah, despite that, the game is really fun and enjoyable and satisfying after you defeat Dark Geia.

@Fredcheesburger I could probably steer better WITH my ass. But the gameplay was true to Sonic style. Fast paced, running so fast you barely have time to react to the endless traps and badguys. Sega have had a tough time trying to get Sonic to keep us entertained. Be honest, would you really have been happy if Sonic stayed the same? No you'd say it was repetitive and just the same game re boxed. Instead Sega gave us this, a flawed yet undeniably and thouroughly enjoyable game.

I love this game, but not Sonic 2006. It was a flat-out bad game. Don't be an idiot and defend it just because of it's label. Even I'm not so blind to deny poor game programing. Also, it's not smart to discuss the quality of a Sonic game on a video about it's music; the only redeeming quality of it's worst games. Post that very same comment on a video of someone glitching out Sonic 2006, and you'll get laughed at.

@madworld And? Sonic games throughout the last decade have delivered on that. Sonic Unleashed gave a lot of variety and things to do and it was fun to watch and play. Both were so addictive, I played 5-6 hour gaming sessions over the weekend I played Unleashed and I hadn't done that for almost 10 years. Black Knight was memorable, Shadow was good (aside the controls), Heroes was great and Secret Rings was a good spin-off. Games don't suck for being different. That's how they make sequels unique.
