Peter Schreier singt das musikalische Werk mit seiner wunderschönen Stimme - nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Er präsentiert nicht sich selber sondern das Lied. Das macht den Reiz seiner Darbietung aus.
Un timbre dégueulasse,aucun véritable appui:Une voix entre amygdales et luette,et,pour la parenté vocale,entre Fischer-Dieskau et Gedda...En pire!!!Une mièvrerie éprouvante!..On pourrait faire de son nom un verbe!Schreier:Chanter mollement,sans consistance ni caractère.Péjoratif:C'est une voix à schreier!
