Hey man I was looking for a good first half stack to invest in, and I play technical death metal like Necrophagist and the Genesis album but Job For A Cowboy. If ENGL's werent 3000 bucks I would invest in that, but will this do for the time being?

what guitar and pups are you using? Do you have a pedal in front or is that just the amp?

Just wondering, would this amp head power 2 cabinets? I know that it has 2 speaker outputs, but what would be the outcom if I bought this amp and hooked up 2 cabs to it?

Quad Jr. Is small size, but sound and function is same Quad 100 Head.

Aha volume 2... wow but it gets pretty loud (I have 2 cabs 4x12).... If u increase the volume a little more, will the gain increase as well?

This amp is ridiculously good for the price. I play doom metal and death metal and that thing suits perfect. Clean is really nice and the distortion channel can be pretty decent for an ACDC like tone if you want to. Built in effects are descent. Only bad things is that the footswitch is hard to find and that this amp has plenty of highs. Nothing that can't be fixed though. On a budget? Get it! if not there's way better stuff out there

i have the KUSTOM QUAD 65DFX and going to buy the KUSTOM QUAD 200 HD. The JR sounds awesome too.

I have this amp too,its amazing amp cant belive its a solidstate. I get all the sounds that i`ve searcin for in one amp:marshall,mesaboogie,paevey and more.thank you Kustom!
