It must've been one heck of a competition. Every one of the entries are absolutely phenomenal. This one was my personal favorite, though. I loved the phrasing, the note choices and the over all groove of the song. It was just awesome.

@vitalizer1000 Actually Tom if fucking awesome at improvisation, and has as much "heart and soul" as anyone else. Besides, does it hurt to be able to memorize solos and parts? No, in fact you'd never get a job as a tutor or session musician without that ability.

That was an idiotic comment, and obviously you have no idea how much of his playing is licks he already know, and how much is totally improvised, not to mention the nature of any improvisation is that it consists mostly of bits and pieces of material the player already knew, but hopefully arranged a bit differently each time.

the phrasing at the start is awesome. im pretty sure he's playing in 5/4 or pharsed it that way while the drummers in 4/4 awesome stuff.
