  • where can i get parts for a 1929 3hp fairbank morse stationary engine

  • Hit n Miss enterprises or Starbolt both sell parts for Fairbanks engines, or you can place an add on Smokstak classifieds.

  • THANKS FOR THAT WIBATTY. BIG HELP

  • Some of the larger Fairbanks-Morse "Z" engines have radiators.

  • Sounds really good

  • What is the cooling system of those engine ?

  • This engine is water cooled, there is an opening on the top of the engine in front of the flywheels(waterhopper), where water goes and surrounds the cylinder. If you look at the water hopper opening, you can see that steam is rising from the water, it is quite common for the water in these engines to boil, and actually the engines are usually running most efficently while the water is at a boil.
