To be completely honest, I wouldn't even try a patch from an untrusted source. Why would you need to disable A/V? A simple hack that overrides the update message shouldn't have any heuristic algorithms that would be picked up by a virus scanner.
It's a shame it's an absolute pain in the ass to find a working WLM 9 thanks to M$ Nazis probably paying most download sites to host WLM 2011 instead.
It signs in but immediately an error screen will block it saying Windows Live Messenger has stopped working.
How about a properly hacked rebuild of windows live messenger 2009 made to appear to the server as windows live 2011, so vista and win 7 are forced to run it, rather than forcing you to update.
@Corrupt5358 when you first start it up please don't click any thing untill its 100% loged in and working if its stop responding just wait this only happens for the first time :)
