@TLK500 there is more in yugoslavia,japan,korea and many of other countries. the one in Medjugorje is one of the more recent ones. the virgin mary continues to visit Medjugorje since the 1980's.

I boken Mirakler av Niels Christian Viedt går författaren igenom några exempel på sådana lakrimationer som enligt vetenskapliga undersökningar inte har någon naturlig förklaring. Han nämner där hur en ikon utgjöt olja i en ryskortodox kyrka på Bredgade i Köpenhamn 1995-1996. Jag rekommenderar den boken. :)

@helapingsten Förr i tiden var det s.k "onaturligt" och "omöjligt" för människor att flyga,men tillslut fann vi ju ett sätt. Så att folk idag säger att det är helt onaturligt och omöjligt för statyer att "gråta" kan verka helt absurt i framtiden när det faktiskt tillslut kommer fram en logisk förklaring. Det här med gråtande statyer är inget jag tror på,i varje fall.

@TLK500 Människor kan inte flyga, vare sig förut eller i nutiden, vi har bara kommit på en maskin som kan flyga som vi sätter oss i. Endast människor som överlåtit sig till det övernaturliga, som S:t Josef av Copertino, har kunnat flyga utan sådana maskiner. Tror du verkligen att det finns en dold naturlag som gör att statyer av helgon utgjuter människotårar? Det låter som att du inte vill veta av Gud hur tydligt Han än visar sin existens för dig. Han älskar dig, var inte rädd. :)

@helapingsten Jag är inte rädd för något. Konfirmerad är jag också, så snacka inte som att jag är någon satanist. Det är en fråga om hur mycket jag tror, och jag tror inte att allt som för oss idag är oförklarigt beror på gud. Det kan likväl bero på något som vi inte vet av än. Kanske har jag fel, kanske har du fel. Det finns inget rätt svar eftersom ingenting är bevisat,vi har bara aningar om allt det här. Så låt mig få tro det jag tror,så får du tro vad du tror.

Mary is precious, the mother of Jesus, but she is a human being like all of us. God sent His only begotten son into the world to give us life. Faked crying statues can be dabbed with chemicals with minimal effort by a water color brush in mere seconds . Usually late at night by a business owner in the neighborhood.

I know u commented a year ago- but its very interesting to think about. If it were condensation- I would think- like most things the have it formed on them- it would be more wide spread and not in a "streaming" position. Its VERY possible somebody faked- I have yet to hear the Church comment on it. However it would take serious dedication and usually it would have to have some purpose- increase in busness prosperity or something.

@ephenderson An expert on statues would have to chime in on the frequency of stains .Logicly there will be somre foreign debrie that disolves and rusts when its lodged in creases of the stone.

If a stain is genuine but in the wrong place its ignored , if it is by the eye its considered supernatural but its simply probability and chance .

Truely sad how desperate people are to see a sign.Some statues crying are 100% real but its condonsation AKA dew , dew will form on grass and cars etc.
