@mikrillla Cash made this song first, other singers have just taken it and tried to redo it. And yes this was pretty much his goodbye song if you knew anything. Cash's wife had recently passed away, he wrote this song in dedication to her and as a goodbye to the rest of his family. He gave up on life, he did not die of old age, he just gave up. He wouldn't eat or leave his home. He wanted to be with his wife again. If you honestly think another band did this song better, your music is garbage.

@blissfulltorment Well, actually, "Hurt" was written by Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, but I prefer the Johnny Cash cover for numerous reasons. But NIN definitely did the song first, and their version has its own merits.

I'm not a giant Geass fan, mostly because I think it was a series with great potential that wasn't handled in the really awesome way it deserved. Everything was so over-the-top and the emotion was so forced that most of the time, I found myself laughing instead. @FrozenDragon666 The reason I cry was because Lelouch is a real hero. You think he's twisted, then you realize he just gave up his high place in history for the good of everyone. The history books will rank him up with Mussolini and Hitler, but he'll look down and laugh, because that's part of his plan, and he ultimately won. A true hero......I couldn't have thought of a better end for this show. It's sad, but perfect.
