Not sure where the idea came from that Gary Moore made Shapes "even more popular" than Jeff Beck and the Yardbirds. Maybe in the mind of somebody who was born 20-30 years after the Yardbirds did the song, but not in reality.
I love when stevie builds back in with the feedback around 5:09. I was lucky enough to meet him at Camp Rock back in 2006. Hes got some awsome stories.
Stevie has been around for awhile playing for years in the LA studios. Richie is a monster. These guys are pros. Sounds pretty incredible for a first time jam. I really didn't expect anything less.
saw gary moore at leeds in april . he was RUBBISH. not talking to the fans falling out with the rest of the band telling the fans to fuck off and he did not play that well . it was just a mess he as truned in to a twat . we paid £ 40 to see him what a wast
I met Stevie at a house party in Kits/Vancouver. He showed up with Colin James. It was back around late '91 - early '92. Anyways, he's tiny! LOL, very nice guy, very humble etc...
I was at this show, Richie is amazing, but this was a disappointing show, they didnt rehearse cos plane was delayed so didnt really play and original! Pretty disappointing after the drive and ticket price!

sell those albums before they are totally wothless. kurt cobain is the master of technical guitar and blues. he beat yngwie and satriani he is so good.
This is awesome!! I have all of Richie's albums and two of Stevie Salas's from many years ago. I always love seeing a world-class shred guitarist playing bass and just supporting the song with a solid, in-the-pocket bass line. Does Richie play drums too? Now I need to see if Stevie has any new CDs out. Thanks!
Thanks for the comment! Yes, Richie plays guitar, bass, drums and keyboard. Although, he describes himself as 'musically inclined, excells at guitar'.
If this was recorded at a guitar show in London I was there. Brilliant!

Not bad for Kotzen being a guitar player, spending a lil' time with poison did'nt put him out there like I hoped it would.
