I love Tricondderoga. They are great. The only Pencil with a good point AND earaser. But you don't have to get the three edged ones. They make them regular. This was funny=D

i agree with you about ppl being lazy to sharpen a pencil. Im a high school student n some of my peers have called me childish for using a wooden pencil....................like wtf. Maybe getting off ur butt to sharpen ur pencil will actually help some fat kids get some exercise. Just puttin it out there..............

if you screw up (and if you are proficient in writing, you rarely should...), you scratch it out... or reach for some whiteout tape...

you know, pencils arent erasable wtihout the eraser... So you need to say that the pencil is a system. And I know your going to say thats rediculous, but in Europe, most pencils dont HAVE erasers...

so now you have a problem there dont you?

so if we put a whiteout dispenser on the back of a pen, its just as good or BETTER than a pencil...

also, about the sharpening thing, you know, there are teachers that DON'T LET YOU sharpen your pencils in class. And about your "mechanical" pencils, thats what you get for buying a $0.25 pencil. Try a clutch pencil. It has a lead the same size of a wood pencil lead, so you sharpen the lead with the built in sharpener. Plus, you can put it in your pocket without stabbing yourself to death...

and I've finally tried a Ticonderoga pencil (2 actually) and I find them to be really good.

I ve added them to the collection of pencils i use so now i use a Bic Mechanical, a Ticonderoga soft #2, and a Ticonderoga "beginners" #2
