@Mrsuperdupernoob Cantonese is a separate culture, language and ethnicity. Only because of political reasons is it considered "Chinese." Also, seeing how the Mainland government passed a law which will ban Cantonese in the public sector this March, Cantonese people are entitled to consider themselves different. After all, if Cantonese were like any other Chinese, the government wouldn't be singling them out. It is called cultural genocide. China is just decapitating itelf.

Rainie said it on her program "I Guess" that her mom is Cantonese person. So I guess she knows Cantonese from her mom, but when she speaks Cantonese, her pronunciation is not 100% perfect. She's good in singing this song.
