  • wheres the fucking ?

  • Richard: Oh my God, I'm getting pulled over. Everyone, just... pretend to be normal. XD

  • wat is the background song?.

  • hey there are the two guys of "the office" and "the last song" yay:)

  • "..theres another word for it.." "dad" lol

  • c'est quoi le titre de la chanson qui passe dans la bande annonce ? ( au début)

  • I love Abigail Breslin's face expression at 1:12 :)

  • the characters and the art direction and the photography are beautiful.

  • Love it! Alan Arkin walked passed me on the street yesterday and I was floored. I LOVED him in this movie.

  • How do write disfunction of this magnitude? I have no idea but they found a way. Every character is messed and loveable in their own way and it somehow creates an all around dysfunctional family with characters everyone can relate too. For me I relate perfectly to Duane. It's such a beautiful picture! And haters obviously can't understand decent symbolic movies like this. And if you're like this I truly pity you, give this movie another shot and pick up Fight Club I bet you can appreciate that.

  • How dreamy was Paul Dano in this movie? OMG I had the biggest crush on him until I got to meet him IN THE FLESH! It was summer '07, post LMS sweeping success, & I had the (mis?)fortune to run into him in a small dive bar in the LES. I was feeling brazen after a few cans of PBR, so I approached him & we bonded over mutual loves (We both ADORE Cassavetes' Faces! WHO KNEW?). High on beer & the smooth Lou Reed grooves, I let this charlatan seduce me! HE HAS A MORGAN FREEMAN FETISH! WATCH OUT GIRLS!

  • @SuperEggfart christ i've been the victim of paul dano's morgan freeman fetish & it is truly disturbing. how can one so young be so fucked up to get his rocks off like that? i was so enamored when i got to see his band play in a small hip venue last year. after the set we chatted about tom waits over a beer or two & then he suggested a move. i of course said yes & he took me to see invictus but god at the sight of freeman he started whacking off in the middle of the cinema. i was mortified!

  • @doodoobubble While your sordid tale chills me to the marrow, I must say THANK GOD you were in a public place. I let the Danonator (as he demanded I call him once his amorous intent became apparent) whisk me off my feet & back to his small, rented apt. What a mistake. As I sat awkwardly on the couch, thumbing through a copy of Spin, I assumed he was emptying his bladder. Instead, he emerged from the bathroom in FULL FREEMAN REGALIA (mask & all!) & requested that I "talk sagely to him"! I ran!!!

  • @SuperEggfart god what a fucking sick freak! i am lucky but i still had to see him turn to me beating his meat & making a dribbling mongol face, muttering what i assume were quotes from famous freeman films. have you seen little children? it was like that. i fled & left the freak to it. still girl, you had it worse with the freeman outfit! You think you're in for a night discussing the classics with a little wine & maybe illegal drugs & some loving but god its him dressed up like freeman!

  • @doodoobubble Wow! The horrors you have seen first hand FAR eclipse the shortlived nightmare I escaped from! Sure, it was a close call, but you saw Dano fapp to Freeman mere INCHES from his unsheathed pork sword! I simply got heavy breathing & heavy prosthetics! I think what offended me most was the LIE involved. As u mentioned, I was under the FALSE assumption that I was in for a night of LIVELY stimulation w a fellow hip & cultured contemporary. I was ILL PREPARED for the SMUT that lay ahead!

  • @SuperEggfart yes it was the lie that hurt the most. i was made a fool of by being taken in by his quiet, cultured, hip & intellectual charm. when all he wanted me to be was the unwilling witness to his depravity. it's almost like he actually got off on me knowing that he jerks off to the celebrated african american actor morgan freeman just as much as freeman's deep silky voice, zen like demeanor & boner for his grand daughter turns him on. im sure some depraved fan would love it though.

  • @doodoobubble I think that's it! When I met Dano, he was riding high on the crest of LMS's success! I admit, I too was swept up in the frenzy, all atwitter that someone so indie would even look my way. Little did I know its all a facade. Sure, he fits the mold, & the unseasoned fangirl may mistake his boyish malaise for cultured ennui. However, his apt was riddled with Ben Affleck DVDs, Enya CDs, & chick lit! When I opened up Spin, expecting a piece on Radiohead, a copy of Redbook fell out! WHA?

  • @SuperEggfart so that was what the danocave was like (yes he called it that & called his car the danomobile - dweeb!)? what a fraud! from watching LMS & Gigantic I expected a loft filled with the likes of Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, & Twain but it was filled with Affleck DVDs! Ha! it was strange bc on the ride to the movies, Enya blasted from the speakers but I was fooled by what i thought was irony as he was bopping his big head & floppy hair singing 'Let me sail, let me sail, let the Orinoco flow'

  • @doodoobubble THATS HOW I FELT! I too was under the misguided impression that he was oh so hip & ironic with his commonplace tastes. Oh, how wrong I was. He talks a good game. He had me going with the Cassavetes & Lou Reed, but once we entered his inner sanctum, that facade dropped quicker than his pants. I laughed 'HA REINDEER GAMES!? You own this? How droll!" Then came the Redbook. Next, I hear Enigma BLASTING as he approaches me in full Freeman attire. Sadly, there was no return to innocence!

  • @SuperEggfart yeah he does talk a good game right? like he approached me after the set & said 'hey what movie is this from? 'no one puts baby in the corner'. I just creamed at his sharp wit dripping with irony that I made instant panty pudding. To be honest swept up & fooled by his charm there he could've called me a sexy and sage Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela & I would've succumbed to the kinkyness & irony of the situation. Alas the charm faded away with his antics in the movie theatre!

  • this is my favorite movie and I've never actually seen it. I need to rent it.

  • Dwayne, that's your name right? Dwayne? this is a voice of experience talking, fuck a lot of women

  • YES!!! Loved it! the scenes in the vw are classic! Have you guys heard of another indie film from SA called white wedding? my cousin told me it was really funny & its been getting really good reviews too. I hear it comes for dvd soon so I am waiting to see what its all about -- whiteweddingmovie. com

  • the bitch in the pagent pissed me off this is my favorivte movie andi wish there wouled be a sequal

  • lol @ Gears of War theme

  • The old man in this movie is hilarious!

  • love this movie!

  • my absolute favorite movie moment of all time is the little back-and-forth between Frank and Dwayne about the whole Niesztche thing.

  • hmm... seems quite much like my family. very chaotic :D

  • "Fuck a lot of woman!"

  • @sheshdd I have no reason to lie to you son... not one woman.... a lot of women

  • I didn't laughted so long ever, that was super funny movie in about 10 years,

    :DDDDDD, the best

  • This movie is fantastic but I kind of don't like that people like it just because of Steve Carell or something. It's better if you actually understand it. To me, this film has meaning and I understand the reason that it's good, and that's doesn't necessarily have anything to do with how funny it is.

  • I need that bloody Nietzsche poster.

  • @RilberBowl It's a one-of-a-kind, made especially for the movie, sorry to say so :)

  • Paul Dano <3

i love Dwayne's character in this movie. i think it was more emotional when he found out he was colorblind and breaks his silence then when the grandpa dies !!!!

    LOVE THIS MOVIE <3

  • the person who wrote this movie wrote the toy story movies

  • FUCK THIS SHIT

  • I LOVE IT!!!!

  • This is such an excellent film. I cannot recommend it enough!

Silverwire100 is taking through their hat!

  • Little Miss Sunshine is actually just a knock-off of the Vacation movies. The ONLY difference is that Sunshine is less funny and does a lot of preaching.

Alan Arkin is a great actor, but he's mediocre in this. He should have won the Oscar for his role in The Heart is a Lonely Hunter (1968).

  • Far out

  • greg kinnear<3333

  • abigail breslin is amazing in this movie!

  • BEST MOVIE EVER period.

  • i loved the movie

  • @h81947

Are you joking? This movie is very flawed, but only towards the end. Overall, it's nothing compared to flicks like Taxi Driver, Pulp Fiction, The Godfather! This movie should have been great, but the script completely fell apart after (SPOILER ALERT) grampa dies. It ties you in, then lets you down.

  • @h81947 Ha ha ha I just shared it on Facebook using these exact words...and then I noticed you and other 90 people thought the same thing :)

  • My favorite exchange of dialogue in the entire movie 1:12 - 1:19

  • good movie, had a nice wes anderson touch.

  • it's an awesome movie.. i cried my eyes out when Dwayne learned he's colorblind.. a true moment of disappointment.. Perfect!!!!

  • "Far out." Lol.

  • I guess...

  • can some one tell me what it is about

  • it's about a disfunctional (with a capital D) family on a trip to a kid's beauty contest.!

  • Just watch the goddamn movie!

  • real. just...real.

  • great film

  • so funny

  • this is an awesome movie!!! it is funny but at times it can b serious

  • Sweeet!

  • i love this film!!!

  • for an amazing film, this is a pretty crap trailer. i mean what the hell? didnt exactly pick the best bits did they?

  • Hmm... Haven't seen the film yet, but maybe it's even better this way? Sometimes the most interesting parts are in the trailer and when you've watched it too carefully... it kinda spoils the parts in the movie a little. I mean, when they come... like out of the sky, they always fascinate much more :)

  • Actually I think the best way to watch a good movie is without ever seeing the trailer, nor even knowing the plot, or having forgotten it. Only you have to be lucky enough to catch the right movie like that. Totally possible, though :)

  • I was watching this movie on a plane wearing earphones, I was laughing so hard I am sure people were looking at me!! :-)

  • one of the best movies this decade

  • it is

  • they cut out what grandpa said what he really said was "chicken? every night its the fuckin' chicken holy god-all-mighty is it possible to just once get somthin' to eat around here besides the god damn fuckin' chicken'?!" and that wuz like my favorite line in the whole movie

  • ha, this movie was awesome, i felt bad for dwayne tho D: poor kid didnt get to fly, doesnt matter, he's still cool x]

  • alan larkin is a legend, i love the paper of steve but he really dont like a homosexual anyway

  • No one gets left behind! :P

  • its great! hey can you put it up on youtube please?

  • A great movie! Alan Arkin deserved his Oscar as the foul mouthed, but touching grandpa.

  • This movie is divine. Every single person in the main cast is absolutely GREAT, but especially Steve Carrel and also Paul Dano.

  • totally agree. i didnt like carell till i saw this.

i feel so bad for Dwayne

i love how he is the first to notice that Olive is missing

  • I love Steve!

  • One of the best movies I ever watched!!

  • I wanna see that movie! ;P It look so great!

  • My favourite line in the movie was said by the 'bored biker dad'. It was the best because it clearly expressed the way the rest of the movie made me feel: YERRRRRR ALLLRRRIGGGGHHHHTTTTT!!!!!!!

  • I love Abigail Bresling! She is soooo cute! =)

  • Very funny movie. Worth seeing for any family or for anyone whoever has felt left behind!

  • 1:35 is so funny!

  • Holy God almighty every night it's the fucking chicken!

  • LOVING the movie!

  • what happend in this movie that was so sad? i havent seen it yet but i just wanna know=) is she gonna die or something=

  • they should have put the "no one gets left behind," before the "wheres olive?" the irony is just beautiful. PS Dwayne (Paul) is HOT.

  • Has Paul Dano ever acted in anything else before?
