HOW TO MAKE A D-DAY REMAKE IN STARCRAFT 2 :

STEP 1: Take Terrans and select a Map with water and Hightground

i have a problem. when i open the game, there says to log into battle.net account. i logged in and it didnt asked me for password, my game shuts down and nothing happens. I added the game when i bought it, and when i looked at the games i added 30 min later, it says i didnt add any game. I tried to add it again and an error ocurred saying the game key was already used by someone. Any help?

@Toussre i dunno, im not convinced... if anything i'd say the Protoss are the weakest, marauders counter just about any Protoss ground unit with the exception of the immortal and the colossus, throw in a side order of marines and immortals are ripped up, colossi on the other hand just need vikings and they too are useless. as for carriers or a mothership (pointless ships in my opinion) all you need is either mass marines, vikings or battlecruisers (which void-rays cant counter anymore).

@tapoutordie89 Lolz, you DEFINITELY want to keep every resource you make in Starcraft, any unit lost is however many seconds it took to build the units, and how many seconds it took to buy the unit lost as well. What you definitely do not want to do is mass armies to die, you will easily be taken out. The max amount of units possible in Starcraft is high for the kind of units that are in the game. 200 as far as I know

Since that throws everything off balance, it'll probably only be available for the Protoss campaign....just like the Mothership's Planet Cracker and Time Bomb. I'm still convinced that the Ms will have it in the Protoss campaign ^^

@bender5836 It had few abilities like aura that makes probes ( Did you noticed that they shine ) more efficiet. They were op so they threw them out and added chrono boost ( Notice that there was no chrono boost ability at Nexus at this point because there where obelisks ).

@bender5836 as others have mentioned it had the ability to make probes gather more. but it also had an ability to recharge a unit's energy (sort of like a shield battery from sc1 but for energy as opposed to shields).

but even earlier versions when it was known as a dark pylon, instead of having the two abilities i mentioned earlier, it instead cloaked surrounding buildings and cannons (which would de-cloak when they fire), it also worked on siege tanks if they belonged to you or an ally.

Obelisk was protoss' economical edge(an answer to mules and zergs ability to get lots of drones) and it made nearby probes mine faster. It was replaced by chronoboost in early beta

@bender5836 It was a building that was in The Starcraft 2 beta it had three abilities: An area-of-effect ability that makes all targeted Probes gather one additional mineral per trip when collecting resources. Recharges the damaged shields of all friendly Protoss units in a selected area. Shield regeneration amount is equal to energy cost. and Transfers energy from this structure to any target friendly Psionic unit. Every 2 energy points will recharge 1 energy for the unit. It was removed.

SC2 is FOR ME a major disappointment (talking about graphics). The landshaft is clearly from Warcraft III, protoss Nexus looks like a modified Undead Goldmine, protoss warp gates look like Undead Ziggurats etc (zergs were transformed in roaches..). And all those super effects that look like using spells ..geez it's like playing The Lord of the Rings, not Starcraft. Also, the game became unnecessarily complicated, even visually it's pretty hard to understand what's happening. Imho SC1 is better.

@MrWurgles i think it might have been a building required for making Stalkers. They said that it was up because he wanted stalkers, and they said he got the cybernetics core for the purpose of warp gates, so i think the cybernetics core was originally meant for upgrades like the terran engineering bay, and the obelisk was required for certain units. They must have decided to merge them. Starcraft 2 is very different these days, kids! don't believe anything you see in the battle reports anymore!

@HypaSnipa i think that might have been the earlier version of a chrono boost, until they realized that chrono boosting units would be massively OP. but the game isn't that bad right now. protoss are still a bit OP, some zerg units are still totally useless (corruptor and ultra), and terran is in pretty good shape. remember, this game was probably even staged to a degree in order to cover up imbalance while still showing off the new units.
