Elvis is truly THE KING, but NOBODY does this song like Glen...nobody. Jimmy Webb once said that when he visited Elvis he was always playing Glen's stuff.
uhh this is just a pure 70's theme song. its like one of those songs played on a cloudy summer day that always sounds so damn good! uhh i get so lost in it when i hear this song!
END OF THE MONTH MAY 2009 THIS TIME U CAN QUOTE ME FILE IT RELEASE IT LOVE IT I'm shocked you have time for me? what's rizzy taking a long shower. i can't wait to be off..it's May 28 so think u can put up with me for three more days? i will go out big dear, so brace yourself.
btw AND I AM TELLING THE TRUTH, Graceland is soooo TACKY looking
so beware my love.
someday it will hit you...that you didn't have a clue how big the beatles really were...someday it will hit you in that cute face of yours that u never got to see "me" in person, but instead went to see a fucking dead celeb. good luck with rizzy & i hope you enjoy the "HEAT"
Who had a big hit with this and is one of the most popular versions? Glen Campell. Who wrote it? John Hartford. So cut out the 'if you don't write your music you are crap' bull****. Most greats back then didn't write, songwriters wrote songs and couldn't sing em properly, Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Tom Jones, Dean Martin, to name a tiny few, these are all useless american idol wanna be's? You don't have the slightest clue about music
elvis sings this song the best of anyone that has recorded it, he sings so beautifully, i could listen too it all the time. he has the best voice.thanks danielle
I just cannot get enough of this song with Elvis singing it. )I certainly love Campbell's version too though_.
I suggest setting up split screens watching Elvis video on one with the 2nd screen locked on the lyrics. See how many times it takes you to sing the song from memory. You'll soon discover that it's not an easy song to sing.
I think this is the best version ever of this song. I love Glen Campbell but his version is country/bluegrass flavored. The Kings version is brought down to Soulsville with a touch of country and rock. This is the Memphis version not the Nashville version of Glen Campbell. Both are good just different versions from different artists.
Elvis sang this song perfectly, but, his version of this perfect song isn't the best version of this song. Glen Campbell and John Hartford have the best versions of this song. Elvis should have had an uptempo beat when recording this song. Elvis' version is too slow. Thank you so very much for sharing though.
An awesome job just like you always do..After 30 years he is still on my mind. Sometimes I miss him so much I can't breathe. Your videos always cheer me up.
Success in Glen Campbell's voice. 1969 were also the year that Elvis made live shows in Las Vegas again and in the other cities of the United States. He showed like this the magazine Rolling Stone on the shows of Presley: "Elvis is supernatural. It is his/her own resurrection." Great video. Thank.

shawent, where is your taste in music?
this is garbage? Nothing heavy
it has no backbone
it's just elvis singing cover shit non-stop like he always did. elvis couldn't write a letter.
it's almost like American Idol TV Show contestant shit. people singing other's hit songs
don't you like real music when someone wrote, played & and sings it.
you must not know who bob dylan, john lennon & paul mccartney are?
goodluck with red26 at graceland &
brace yourself it is very "tacky"
