Well I know al you guys are arguing over who should have gone further. But honestly I don't think Casey should have gone any further. All he did was growl when he was singing. And it got extremely annoying after dozens and dozens of songs.

I think this was the 1st performance that proved he was a very serious contender. Still my favorite 'slow' song he did on the show. I thought he might just win Teen Idol, but then I remembered he's not 16.

i didn't think haley should've gone as far as she did o.o she was bad over half the season (she has shown improvement don't get me wrong there) but james didn't have one bad week not ONE , i thought he would've taken the whole thing, james shouldve been safe, then between scotty and haley it shouldve been haley to leave o.o casey should've made it further too x_x

@Pandabreakdance I love James but I think the 30 Seconds to Mars week wasn't that good a week, Don't Stop Believing was good vocally but boring, the trill in Love Potion Number 9 was screechy. But overall, he was great, I just don't think he was as consistent as you say...

and there haven't been alot like him, or casey o.o Casey was great too i aalmost died when he went home xD cuz guys like those two put on a performance and really get the crowd goin

@Pandabreakdance Haha well Adam Lambert did support Haley so that probably did make a difference since people like me (Adam fans) were rooting for James (however I don't get swayed by people's opinions that easily so I still loved James but it did make me appreciate Haley more. I think the week James was kicked out the judges had to play a huge role cos they criticised Haley so much that it scared everyone and got everyone voting. Still think the thing's rigged haha but I still watch...

@Wyzzard1234 Lol I dunno about it being rigged or anything like that but even if it was i'd probably still watch cuz i love some of the voices, personalities, and ppl you see every season on the show :P Plus as far as i know no1 like james has won idol in.. pretty long time o.othey kinda grow on you after awhile, i thought the final three would have casey, james, and scotty :P i'm just glad scotty won he was really great too and i'm glad lauren made it to the finals as well she was awesome xP

@thornbell You know NOTHING of talent. For a man to hit those octaves, is an incredible feat. To make it sound good all the while? Priceless. For all the emotion he put into every single song of his.. indescribable. He brought something to America's eyes that they'd otherwise would turn away from, and that is a taste of metal. If all you heard was a few screams and said "eww I don't like that", then you need to have a more diverse opinion on music.
