I just listened to your version of Something in the way she moves. Outstanding!!!! I look forward to listening to more of your tunes. Thanks for posting...
hey honestly Glen, I can't believe your voice is so close to the man himself-brilliant cover, mate, I just can barely tell the difference and I've followed James Taylor for years. Keep 'em coming!
You chose a great guitar. By the way, your rendition motivated me to learn the intro piece. I've loved it since first hearing it several years ago. I hope to have a clip of it to post sometime soon. Take care,
Thank you so much for watching!! Yes, I'm in love with this guitar. It's my first really nice one... It's Western Red Cedar on top and Palo Escrito Rosewood on the back and sides with Curly Koa bindings. All the best to you!!!
I continue to watch your videos. You are my American Idol. Worked with Livingston Taylor last night, for you and me, Fire and Rainman, that's one degree of seperation.
Yo Tim!!! How are you buddy??? Livingston Taylor...how friggin' cool is that. He's so talented, but will forever live in his brother's shadow. Hey, shoot me a private message with your current e-mail address. Hope this message finds you doing well. Thanks for watching......
Fantastic -- really nice cover. Great vocal. That instrumental you play at the head is one of my favorite JT songs to play on acoustic guitar... and relatively unknown. Again, amazing playing and singing -- thanks for posting!
Thanks so much for watching and commenting!! Yes, I love that instrumental. I think JT is one of the most underrated acoustic fingerstylists IMO. His band, vocals, and overall songwriting sometimes overshadows his playing. That's why I was so excited to see his "One Man Band" from a couple years ago. Just a voice and a guitar. Stripped down you really can see the genius of his guitar playing. Anyhow, have a great weekend and again, thanks so much for the kind words!!!!!
Thanks so much for watching! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Good luck with the song. I think JT's guitar work is often overlooked because his vocals, band, and words are so amazing. But if you isolate just the technique, it's so very worthy of study...
Okay, I'll step off the preacher box....lol. Happy holidays to you and yours!!!
You are so very sweet!! Thank you for the kind comment. I can't get enough of JT's music. It's so cool that so many people from around the world feel the same way. All the best to you and yours!!
Wow...thanks for such a heartfelt comment. Thank you....it's the way much of JT's music makes me feel. I'm constantly shaking my head at how amazing his writing is. All the best!!
Thanks so much!!! I learned it from my teacher Kit Alderson in Santa Monica, CA. He's amazing and knows all the JT songs. Plus he's just a great guy to spend time with...
I enjoyed that very much. I currently play a Gallagher Doc Watson and a 1965 Guild F-47. I'm working on learning the intro myself, but lack of accurate tablature is a hindrance.
By any chance, do you have a source of tab for the intro?
Hi! Thanks for watching. I worked out the intro with my teacher. Unfortunately I don't have any tab for it. Haven't checked the web for it either. Might be there somewhere. Good luck!!
Wow!!!! That is very sweet of you!!! I really appreciate the compliment. Tough one to live up to...lol. JT is the man!!!! Have an amazing weekend and thanks again for watching....
wow.. very nice. good fingers and not bad vocals, sounds similar to jt himself a little. what is your guitar? im a big martin collector myself and know a lot of guitars but i cant really tell what yours is? is it one of those "O"s that taylor plays?
Glen..Ive been trying to figure out where he got the intro to a couple of his songs on his one man band dvd..I knew I had heard it...good job an that and your vocals are are right on...
Damn...I just listened to a couple of your Bread tunes. You nail them. I would love to learn a couple but I don't have that high range. Great job yourself Mark! Thanks for the nice words on JT. I really love that One Man Band DVD. Gonna wear it out...
I just posted that you were a talented Mo=FO! (I didn't realize though that I was logged in on my wife's account.) You rock Glen!

This is the best version (apart from James Taylor) I,ve ever heard on Youtube. Very, very well done.
If you like, check out my version of "Fire and Rain" and let me know what you think.
I'm blown away by your tale on this song.
Best wishes
