Lol. This part of this demo pop's into my head once in a while. Oh the memories.

  • that rocks 90's style.

    some wicked sounds going on

  • The use of Rolf Harris in this is genius.

  • Hey you dont see a BOB or SPRITE routine in sight all hardware bashed.

You guys keeping Amiga scene alive...

    nuff respect...

  • Hah, I remember showing this to my dad and he was totally bemused by the combination of Rolf Harris and rave music. bless him...

  • haha, the Rolf bit was unexpected and awesome.

  • G'DAY

  • This came out two years after I was born, but I must say that this resonates somewhere in my soul.

  • i agree, everdamp. whoever that may be... :)

  • murder! what a rush!

  • Sweeeeet! The strobe effect is lost with YouTube's low bit rate. D'oh!!

  • Actually it's more likely 'cause of YT's low _frame_rate. Only 25 or 30fps. Most amiga demos ran at 50 or 60fps.

  • G,day , rolf here! Wot a classic. Me n our m8 managed to put this onto a Video n play it pitch black in the front room full blast!!

    No one will better this!

  • G'Day, Rolf Here :)

  • Ohhhh wow. That sweet melancholy feeling summed up in one word: Amiga.

Anyone know about that tune at the end?I know it's a remix of the "Mana Mana" Muppets song - but any idea about how/where to get hold of the remix?

  • Thankyou very much for putting this up. I had not seen this work of art for 12 years. Thankyou again.

  • More prove that the Amiga had the best !@@$#$^

sound hardware possible at the time!

  • The Rolf Harris part is genius. I had an A500 and this was my favorite demo off all time. They must have been on some "real cruel $hit!" lol.

  • This had a great soundtrack, the rest was pretty average for the time but Echo did an amazing job on the music.

And i remember at the time I bought a 60mb hd for £60! wtf we were mad back in those days.

  • I remember buying the 512k upgrade that had a clock on board lol - was about 40 quid at the time, GOOD TIMES :)

  • I bought an external drive for £70 just to run Jesus on E without disk swap interuption!

  • If you remember, if you didn't have an external it used to more often than not freeze up on ya. At least the AGA version did

  • @thefrequencykenneth lmao yeah me as well lol... was a Cumana :O)

  • @thefrequencykenneth AMIGA 1200+ LOVE IT :) WHOT A CLASSIC :)

  • Yeah, this is great, I used to own a BBS back in the day, ran it on my accelerated A1200 with a 1gb HDD that cost me £230 at the time!

The demo scene was awesome on the Amiga

  • Awesome stuff. I originally managed to watch this on an A600 by constantly hand-switching the disks. Wicked coding and superb music by the Spoonman - who I spoke to a few times on his old BBS.
