  • the phones suck

  • being a college student i think net10 is the way to go. i have the unlimited plan for 50 bucks a month that save my poor behind some cash. to. you know, do college things lol the phones are awesome and cheap with out losing the value and the coverage is great now that its on both att and verizon towers. . i tell ya net 10 is where its at

  • too good. but ive also tried out there phones. i wasnt happy with them. so i tried out the other side of the coin. Straight talk phones were a little better, i fell in love with the LG900G series. the high speed browser and design sold me. if this isnt doing it for you try them, still as cheap as net10!!

  • Definitely a really good choice of college students. No contracts, no monthly bills and the best unlimited plan out there! There is no question that students can have many benefits from choosing net10.

  • from this commericial, net10 seems...WAY WAY WAY WAY (100 more times WAY) TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE HAHA xD

  • I've been using Net10 for a while and it was good but discovered their unlimited plan and was intrigued. I thought I'd have to buy a new phone but found out I could still use the one I had. It's really great and the price is excellent. Covergae is the best, too!

  • My son's been using net10 for a while now, due to their extensive coverage and affordable rates, and has recently convinced me to leave my contract provider and switch over to their unlimited plan. I'm so amazed at what they offer for such a low price. Was also surprised to learn that they operate on Verizon, AT&T and T-mobile, so wherever you are, you can pick the right phone for the network that suits you best. Don't know why I didn't look into this months ago!

  • I've been using Net10 for over a year now and I've only been paying $50 a month for unlimited calls, texts, web/mail AND 411 calls. It's great, and I get to save so much more money than my friends who are still under contract.

  • Does anybody know if it comes with free 411? I still use this service quite a lot to the tune of like 15 bucks a month. I'll go grab one now if it does.

  • Net 10 has really been great for me for business. I am on the road a lot and being able to make as many calls as I like on Net 10 unlimited at a set price has really made a difference to the amount of work that I can get done every day.

  • With NET10 it offers you diversity where I can select to up the usage to $50.00 unlimited talk/text/email on busy months and to lower it to $25.00 for 750 minutes when I do not need it as much, flexible!

  • Brooooo get the unlimited plan! I was using the pay as you go cards from Walmart but eventually switched over to Net10's unlimited plan. No regrets there man! I got a pretty sick deal with the phone too. Do it up! You won't regret it either.

  • I wish Net10 was around when I was in college, it would have changed my life. All through college my contract phone was a headache, always running out of minutes and over budget, imagine Unlimited everything for $50 a month and a great phone, even a few years on I can't resist a deal like that.

  • I am rather pleased with the cheap rates, lack of contract, and easy-to-use phones. In fact, apparently Net10 boasts a JD Power award for best no-contract experience and I am not at all surprised. Signing up and usage is simple and easy, just like most cell phones ought to be.

  • @kjessie12 Wow i had no idea they've won an award from JD power. All i know is that i've had Net10 up at school for about 5 months now and its really solid. The phones arent anything cutting edge but when my rents started charging me for my own phone i had to find a solution to the $80 + a month bill. Im not a consumer magazine but i have to say its a no brainer.

  • the service really is great. When your minutes expire they remind you and you never get in a bind. I pay only ten cents a minute which is a huge bargain. I can’t imagine spending more than thirty dollars a month for a cellphone and texting! It’s ridiculous in times like these to be abused by cellphone companies that are constantly charging you for cancellation fees and just taking all your money! Talking is talking.. its all the same… I just prefer to save tons of money.

  • I really love net10 phones. There are no contracts to fool around with, no monthly bills and no hidden fees. Best of all, the unlimited plan for 50 dollars a month is amazing and i cannot see myself using another plan ever.

  • net ten is a big joke as far as i am conserned

  • This is such a great deal. Would be a great Christmas prezzie as well :) Perfect for college because of the querty keyboard adn unlimited data, makes research so much easier

  • Not excited about going back to college, but at least now i dont have to worry about paying my cellphone bill. Ever since i got with net10 and there unlimited plan i have no worries and i always pa my bill on time. And the coverage is fenomenal, i thought otherwise, but i was wrong. And all for just $50.

  • I sent the kids off to college this year with Net10 qwerty sliders at 10c a minute and they loved them! This Christmas their stocking will have the new unlimited talk, text and web plan and they will be extatic and best of all their cell phone allowances will cover the $50.00 a month easily with money left over!

  • Who's the happiest person on the planet? I am! Haha, I just got my Net10 phone and I'm ecstatic! I used to pay over one hundred dollars a month, but now I only pay 50 bucks for ulimited texts, calling, and web.

  • @Arcticbrian1 Move over....my kids are coming to join you! I gave them an early Christmas gift and got them Net10 qwerty sliders with the unlimited plan and they have sworn an entire year of good behaviour, chores done and homework and grades as they need to be! Time will tell but right now they are over the moon and behaving like angels!

  • ever since i got net10 i've had the same phone, the samsung t401G, i don't know why i just fell in love with it, it is so easy to use and comfortable. Not to mention that net10 has amazing coverage, i have yet to drop a call, and on top of that my pockets do not have a hole through them, in fact they are filling up month after month.

  • I don't think the release of the new Net10 LG900G smart phone is going to make much of a difference on the demand for the Net10 Samsung T401G as this phone has such wonderful functions like the mp3 and video player, blue tooth and mobile web. The T401G is a great texter phone and the LG900G has much smaller buttons.

  • This Samsung T401 with a Net 10 unlimited contract is about as good as it gets with standard phones. The web works but it is a "smart phone lite", but for the price it is unbeatable.

  • My son takes his work very seriously at college and he is quite ambitious. I bought him this super Net10 T401G to help him process his work, helping him research and send off information. The MP3 also helps him relax and I want him to remember all the good times too with his friends which is why I like the idea of the video camera. I'm just trying to give him every possible opportunity to succeed in life and with the cheap net10 $50 plan he stays in touch with us regularly.

  • I got this phone on the black Friday deal. It is a great phone and the NEt 10 unlimited deal at $50 a month is awesome. There is no better deal out there.

  • It's not about being "budget worthy" so much as it is exercising some common sense. Net10=common sense IMO

  • If anyone were to take awesomeness and bundle it up in a phone, it would be called the Samsung T401G. This phone simply does everything I need, and I get unlimited web, text, and talk for only $50 a month. Some companies charge almost double for the EXACT same services! Do your wallet a favor and check out Net10 today.

  • Really is one of the best deals out there! Awesome phone and it gets you on the net10 network, which has better coverage than i've ever got before, with no long distance charges. But probably my favourite thing is the flexibility you have from month to month, like now, I've got the $50 unlimited card (because it the holiday season and I know ill be talking more) and I usually just use the regular top-up cards...

  • ok, tell me this isn't the bomb: free 411, no contrac, and unlimited talk, text, email, and web. I mean, come on! No contract plan comes close to offering that at such a low price, only 50 dollars, whereas the major networks wouldn't even offer those features for less than 70

  • Well i just entered grad school and not only is it a lot of work but I also have to take out a pretty big student loan so every single penny counts for me. I thought I would have to scale down away from an unlimited plan but Net10 makes it affordable with the 50 dollar unlimited.

  • @nuckyt305 THat's great! I've got a son who is entering grad school for the first time and I'm going to tell him about this video and see if he switches down. It would be a great way for him to save money.

  • yes! Net10 is the best! it's the only cell phone provider that my whole family and i use. it's so cheap and you get exactly what youre paying for. the minutes you chose and great service. I only pay $30 a month and I get 500 easy minutes per month.

  • Its so interesting that this video has no "thumbs down" - kind of like the company itself since I haven't really heard anything negative regarding their service. I might have heard from my mom and brother that they wished the plans might expand a bit more and now the $50 unlimited plan has shut them up. Lol!

  • net10 unlimited is such a great budget value. My son had been bothering me about getting a phone for such a long time and I thought he was way too young. I had been doing some research on the internet and I found the net10 unlimited plan for $50 a month for unlimited talk, text, and web. On top of that you can always downgrade to a less expensive plan if ur budget changes.

  • When i first got by daughter a phone the bill at the end of the month made my jaw drop....who sends over 100 texts in a month? Thankfully her mother heard about Net10 from a coworker of hers and we decided to try it out with her. It's been so great that we've all mad the move..I have the 200 minute plan which is more than enough for me and the two ladies have the unlimited plans.

  • I have the samsung t401g...its a sweet phone that i got as an early gift for the holidays. It has a full keyboard and a pretty solid camera. I choose to go with the unlimited plan for $50 this month since i figured i'd be calling family and friends for the holidays and what not. So far the service has been just as good as my old phone and im saving a bunch.

  • It is so great that net10 finally came out with their unlimited plan. It's on the at&t network I believe which is much larger than sprint and a lot of other coverage areas. When they say no contract they really mean no conract. i have never been bombarded with unknown fees and ridiculous little hidden things that will cost me money. I personally have the samsungR3ggc which is very similar to the blackberry. but its half the price of a real blackberry each month!

  • Which person wouldn't be exited to have a Net10 phone with MP3 player, video recorder, camera, mobile web, blue tooth and a qwerty slider keyboard that's so easy to use for lots of texting. Its most people's dream phone plus used with the Net10 unlimited plan you can have fun all day with this phone in so many ways and it won't cost you more than $50 a month. This is the Net10 euphoria!

  • I have this same phone. I love it, it has everything i can want in a phone. The best part is my unlimited plan for just $50/month and NO CONTRACT. You just can't argue against deals like this.

  • I sent the kids off to college with Net10 phones and they've saved a bundle compared to our old contract "family plan"! They'll go back with the new $50.00 a month unlimited plan ( Xmas gifts) but I'll stick to my trust 10c per minute, 3c per text plan as it suits me just fine!

  • I think the best part of the service is that you can customize your bill each month and tailor it to what you need. As a recent graduate, I know what months are going to be busy. Interviewing and flying around, I need dependable service that will cover my needs. Luckily, I have continued to use this service beyond college and it works great. I'm pretty lucky to have found something so reliable and cheap!

  • This Net10 unlimited $50 plan is so super. It offers me everything I could ever want in a cell phone plan, unlimited talk, text, mobile web & e-mails and free calls to 411. I don't stress anymore on how long I'm talking on the phone, I don't worry about phoning my friends as many times as I want who are on the other side of the USA. This plan is such a money saver when you talk allot , and it brings me closer to my loved ones. Net10 unlimited is the ultimate cell phone plan.

  • Good deal! Net10 is awesome and I think the value is da bomb, yo!

  • My Net10 Unlimited phone was torn up by my nephew last week. I bought a smaller flip phone to replace it, and the Net10 representative on the phone told me he could switch my Unlimited account to the new phone. After 30 minutes, he suddenly told me the account on a broken phone can't be switched to a new phone. So, I lost more than $100 total. Thanks Net10.

  • yip. also got this great phone and plan from net10 when i went back to college a little while ago and i simply love it. i am even luckier as i have the unlimited plan for $50 a month, which gives me unlimited talk, text and data, free 411 calls, and great nationwide cover with no extra charges for long distance. no contract, no nasty bill at month end, just $50 every month, and here it goes, i don't even have to pay that.......my parents do it for me, am in a happy place in cellphone heaven

  • My daughter stays far away from me in another state and we pay for her cell phone costs so that she will phone us every day. We've worked out that if she phones at least for more than an hour a day to whoever she wants to it pays us to buy the unlimited Net10 $50 plan.

  • This is the phone I now have! Recently switched to Net10, am using the unlimited talk, text and web plan for $50, and the savings are so good compared to what I was paying, I can afford the little extras like games and ringtones! I may have to cut back to the $25 plan over Dec. when my budget is tight, but what a bonus that I can actually do this at no extra cost!

  • Anyone who saves prepaid cell phones (hardware) doesn't have options, really needs to take a look at NET10. I can admit that they don't have an IPhone or anything like that and the themselves are a little older, but they have all the options you need and none of the price. I bought the Samsung this month when I decided to go NET10 prepaid and the Qwerty keyboard is working wonderfully.

  • I love Net10...if you want to go unlimited you can...if you change your mind you can reduce your usage and pay less and if you change your mind again or finances improve back you go to unlimited usage at $50 a month...no one to dictate to you what you can and can't do on your cell phone ...just freedom!

  • Hey, i just want to tell everyone about another sweet deal from Net10! When I was at Kmart a couple days ago I saw the Moto 408g (sweet phone with bluetooth, a 1.3 MegaPixel camera and video recording) for $15, which is half what it used to cost... I bought 4, two for me (one for back-up) and two for my kids. We are all loving the little Motos

  • net10 seems to be able to provide a plan for anybody's needs. my need are very small, just need a phone to make the odd call or send the occasional text, so i got the $15 plan, together with a nice cheap phone for only $19.99. that does it for me. but i like the fact that i can change to a different plan any time i like. no cancellation fees, no worries. net 10 is the best prepaid plan out there. simply love it, it saves me loads of money since i switched over from contract

  • I had a rethink about my own cell phone plan when I saw the new Net10 unlimited deal....not just for the kids but for me! I'm going to love not having to worry about airtime again or how much my phone is costing me ...$50.00 a month is all it takes to be worry free and phone and text as much as you please!

  • Hey spotty and Islay. That is a great point. The kids get to choose month to month if they want $50 unlimited or just a $25 or $15 card, so its their decision. Actually I think thast they will go for the unlimited all the time. These kids send about 100 texts a day

  • I only found out about net10's $50 unlimited plan a couple of days ago. I was getting my daughter 200 minutes of their website when the I noticed the new pricing. I appreciate the option of choosing a smaller plan, more than I appreciate a cheaper option. Wanting to switch, but checking out the phones first.

  • I joined with NET10 this summer because I heard about this ad and I thought the price sounded right. I just heard about their new unlimited plan and now I know the price is right. I know that I would need more minutes and texting as the year went on so now that this plan is avaiable and $50, I'm going to change next month and its only $25 more. The best part is I can change back to my usual $25 plan in January and no penalities - love it.

  • @OliviaSpencer09 got my kids on net10 when they started college and it's just been so good...now they can choose which plan they want to spend their allowances on!

  • @islay263 I think its a great way for kids to learn to manage their own finances. If ts just the parents forking out each month for the contract it really doesn't teach them anything and they just take it all forgranted

  • I have gone for the Net 10 unlimited deal at $ 50 a month. This is truely great as I get unlimited calls and text, I don't use the internet much on my present phone, but If I got this qwerty slider. I am sure that I would use it a lot more.

  • Love net10! No contracts fill out, no monthly bills, and no averages! I am using the unlimited everything plan for just $50 a month and it is such an awesome deal!

  • I am a college student and net10's service is and wireless plan is the best plan for me. I use the unlimited plan for just $50 a month and the savings are just piling up. I need all the money that I can save because I need to pay for classes, books, and supplies. With this plan, I can afford all of these things and more.

  • I've decided to get my kids on net10 after finding that they're not making me happy with the limiting unlimited straight talk plans. I especially like the $20 option, which is still ridiculously cheap for 200 minutes. But now to find a reasonable phone for them. I suspect this phone might very well be a little too much for their needs.

  • I have also recently cancelled my contract and gone over to net10 prepaid. What a great move. I am saving about $50 a month and I can make as many calls and texts as I like.

  • Hi there rdrezz412. I have also switched recently, after years of getting ripped off. I cant believe that I can call and text as much as I like for $50 a month. I actually call more and text less, because it all cost the same.

  • replyin to thecmack and rinny.. and well whoever is reading this. Went from at&t to net10 last week. It's only been a week and so far so good but its great to read what other people say. If it stays as good as its been this past week... I am going to hit myself on the head for not having net10 longer. Great service. great phone. Excited to save the money.

  • the NET10 service is perfect for someone who doesnt want to be tied into a long contract. the unlimited plan is great -- 50 bucks for unlimited EVERYTHING. i was tired of having to watch how many minutes i talk, or how many texts i sent and received. AND nice extra - Free 411 calls

  • Hi to The Cmack86. I did not know that you could switch from the unlimited back to a cheaper plan if you are not using your phone much for a month or 2. That is a great option. Thanks for letting me know.

  • Comment removed

  • Rinny18ify, i just picked up the unlimited contract too..its great that i have the option to move freely between the unlimited plan if there happens to be a month where you know you wont be using a lot of minutes to maximize your savings...lately ive been doing the unlimited plan because i've been talking and texting a ton...

  • This is a great phone. I have been using it for a while now, and Net 10 now have a $50 a month unlimited plan. That is unlimited texts, calls and internet. THis is a gret deal

  • Cute video. I've been using Net10 for a while and really like it. I just got the new 750 minutes for $25 deal which is an amazing value! Great coverage and nice phone too.

  • So My dorm is in the middle of nowhere and I was really nervous about service. A lot of my friends with Sprint were complaining about their sketchy service and that it was going in and out. PLus they were spending somewhere like 100 dollars a month. So my roomate got Net10 and she says she never ever has a problem. She does it on a more prepaid basis but its really good to read that you all like the unlimited plan. I didnt know it was as cheap as 50 dollars! UNREAL.

  • very budget friendly deal that is. got myself a qwerty and my son too. him being back at college he can show off with his friends, and i can sit on my happy place, my sofa and chat and text my life away to him and my friends and family. i no longer have to have disussions with him about how much money he is allowed to spend on his phone before he has to pay some out of his allowance. we got the new unlimited prepaid plan from net10 unlimited talk, text and data, free 411 calls and no romaing fee

  • i got a teenage son, and when he went back to college a lot of money needed to be spent. i was so glad when i found out about the new net10 unlimited prepaid plan for $50, as it means huge savings for us. with this plan he gets unlimited talk, text , email and web access, great nationwide coverage with no extra charges for long distance, and i can rest assured that he will keep a regular contact to us as he can no longer run out of airtime. peace of mind for me and i save a lot of money now.

  • When I saw this phone, I was really hoping my phone would die a sudden death to warrant getting a new phone so soon after I got my last one. Lucky for me, I got a dream man who decided he'd get it for me anyhow. He's happy at how much I save with Net10's unlimited talk, text and web plan for $50, & decided the savings would pay for the phone. Downside is Ive got to limit myself to 300 minutes for the next month but then at no extra cost, I'm right back where I left off on unlimited! Thanks Hon

  • I love Net10. I was kind of in a crunch to buy my books for this semester and my mom told me about this company and it was such a life-saver! I only pay 50 bucks at a time for unlimited texting and calling and with all the money I'm saving, not only could I afford all my books but I even get some pocket money in the long run. Great back-to-school phone.

  • My mom sends my student sister $50 for the Net10 unlimited plan every month so that they can stay in touch every day as my sister is studying at a university in another state.

This plan is so great because you can talk, text, e-mail & mobile web as much as you like & the price of a call to my sister is the same price as to my neighbour.

When my sister comes home for the holidays then she downgrades to the $15/month plan for 200 min. So I like the way this plan is flexible & allows more savings

  • I've been so lucky with Net10 as I've never had a problem so I never had to call customer service! The new unlimited talk, text and data service is a godsend as I don't have to rush off the get airtime every time the kids run out and I love the 411 access as it gives me peace of mind!

  • As far as customer service issues, I had some real nightmares with my previous carrier so anything was a step -up and luckily, NET10 has been a dream so far. When I researched the company, I found out they had won customer service awards so it was a big plus. Current NET10 customer and super happy that they are finally offering unlimited service plans that are compeitive with other companies. Paying $50 a month and still having a decent company sounds good to me.

  • Sure the phones and rates are great but the customer service sucks ass BIG TIME!!!

I was on hold for dam near an hour and when I got somebody, it was overseas and they did'nt seem t have a clue as to what was going on.

All I tried to do was transfer my Net 10 number to my new Net 10 phone and it has been a real pain.

Net 10 Sucks when it comes to customer service and technical help!!!!

  • YEAH !!! :)

My NEW Net10 SAMSUNG T401G is NOW finally active... Thank You so much Net Anamie for helping me activate my NEW phone. :)

  • My friends were talking about this deal the other day... The phone is awesome -everything I need- and they were saying net10 coverage is amazing.

  • the phone is a piece if shit text sux ur mins get eaten up quick in 2 weeks

  • @1988tahoe thats why there is the unlimited plan.

  • This NET10 T401G looks like another great prepaid deal from NET10.Im most certainly upgrading to this phone! It looks like a stylish phone, comes with great rates and judging from my previous experience with NET10 its going to be a winner deal!

  • Think we all know the "fine dining" from a vending machine! Happily been with Net10 for quite some time now and looking at this phone, I think it's time I got an upgrade. Love the fact that it has camera and mp3 player. Adding to that the 3c texts and I believe they have another winner!

  • definately budget friendly to anybody's budget, and especially for the permanently short of money students. this samsung t401g is a super phone with full qwerty, video recorder, mp3 player and camera. the 300 free minutes with the purchase of the phone also ad up to the savings. after that no overage fees no hidden costs no nothing. just prepaid. 10c a minute or 3c a text. perfect deal for students and anyone trying to save and stay away from contracts and their scary monthly bills

  • great value for money without being tied up in a contract. the net10 deal is the perfect choice for all these college kids that need to look after their money. net10 is offering a deal with 3oo free minutes with the purchase of any of their phones. they have nationwide coverage and only charge 10c a minute and 3c a text. i got my son a phone with video, mp3 and qwerty and he is over the moon.

  • the phones are nice but the people that works tech support and customer service are idiots if you ask a question that is over there head they will put you on hold and never come back on the line again. you cant get a straight answer out of anyone everyone at net10 has a different answer to the same question.you are better off using 2 dixie cups and a string than calling to talk to anyone concerning a problem

  • as a business woman trying to make it out there in the big apple, net10 has saved me alot of money, just the great deals they offer and the affordable minutes, its hard finding a nice phone that is inexpensive to use, and im very impressed with service, the signal is great, i have very few problems with net10.

  • This is a great phone and at an awesome price. On top of that it comes with 300 minutes and 60 days service.

  • This phone is so awesome. I remember when I first got it. My phone bill went from $70 to $20 and I was so thrilled. The service is amazing and the phone basically does everything. Overall great buy and I would definitely recommend it.

  • i bought this phone and they couldnt activate it so they put me on hold for 1 hour and then they hung up on me! i think the whole net10 is bullshit! not recomendable! And a bunch of sons and daughters of official bitches!!!

  • now it's only 50 dollars with 500 bonus minutes

  • really looks like one heck of a deal... I've heard that net10 coverage is awesome and that this phone comes with 300 minutes loaded:)

  • I just bought this phone for my brother as a present for starting college. He loves the functions and what he loves even more is that net10 has such awesome coverage and the best deals on texts and calls and it came with a free 300 minute card

  • Sweet deal for the college budget!! plus the awesome coverage and 3c texts from net10 as a bonus:)

  • For those of us in College who has to foot their own bill, Net10 definitely comes in handy. The reception is great and the phone has a lot of cool features. Works for me :)

  • When my friend pulled out her Blackberry to show me I just smiled and asked her who's paying for that. Her parents of course. Hey, I'm one of those students who has to foot their own cell phone bill. That's why I got Net10. I have this phone and it's a great phone. Got everything I need and I can afford to pay my own cell phone bill and have money left over for fun.

  • I have to pay my own cell phone bill when I go back to college so Net10 was the answer for me. I shopped around and found it's the best deal. I pay monthly as I go and if I'm low on minutes I can always call from my phone and get more. I'm glad to see other people have seen the light when it comes to getting value for money. Think Net10 should change its name to NetVALUE. Isn't that a cool name?

  • Being young is expensive so im glad that Net10 has got our budgets covered with great prices and still cool phones. This is a really great phone and very useful with the music and camera. I like Net10s affordable rates they make me happy.

  • Great Video. As a college student I truly understand how much net10 is useful. With net10 I never have to sacrifice money that I simply do not have. Net10 allows me to save more money for pizza!

  • I just got this one! I'm going to be a sophomore at U of I and I traded in my contract phone for a Net10. I didn't want to waste so much money on minutes that I barely use. Now, I am able to use as many minutes as I need without working about going over my minutes or spending money on minutes that I don't use. It's a good phone with great service (my old service network barely got service around campus).
