They ruined drop kicking, the new meter is garbage. Plus, I used to use the drop kick as my chip kick too since there is no actual way to chip other than from set plays. So now my whole strategy from Rugby 06 goes down the crapper. New drop goal mechanic is horrible. The game has improved slightly. But this series really needs worked on, especially with the improving polularity of the sport.

no it wasn't....it was ridiculously easy to beat the AI defense, the game played too fast, the sidestep animation was completely wrong and too hard to do, as was the hand off....ea should make the rugby games more like madden. They have had a year and a half to develop this and I am fucked off that there have not been some MAJOR gameplay changes. I am pleased with the World Cup mode etc but other the gameplay needed to be completely re-done :(
