To become one easier take all armor off and go to broken fang cave, when you go in you should get the disease pretty easily. If anyone saw the dice possible dlc this may be a good idea.

You can become a flying vampire lord and summon vamparites to help you in battle.

actually, the main vampire lvl 4 drawback, which is that ppl attack you can be counter acted with "pacify" illusion spells. The vampire strengthen illusion helps alot for that.

Also, the weakness to fire is less of a problem if you have a bloodelf vampire since they have innate 50% resistance to fire.

I'm playing as a bloodelf/vampire with high illusion and staying lvl4 all the time. I do fine though i have to sneak a lot. I just sleep past daytime, travel or do caves (no sun in there).

That's stupid feeding is suppose to make your vampirism more powerful and when you dont feed you just stay in lower stages not some shit about waiting 24H for next stage..+ thats bullshit that everyone attacks you even when you have a helmet or mask that covers your face..i wish they could improve vampirism to be more..."reasonable".. why being werewolf have more benefits then vampirism?? if you are a werewolf you are suppose to be able, only to turn at night or at full moon!?

@mrjustinkw Do you already have a special disease ( Beast Blood ) you cannot contract it if you have the blood of a Werewolf (not tested but i never contracted it while i was a Werewolf). To get rid of the Beast Blood you need to complete the Companions guild quests.

The Vampires need to use Vamp drain as shown in Video the red magic. I dont believe it matters what Vampire uses it.

best way to get vampirism is in the swamps south east of solitude and in that town near the dark brotherhood shed. Go talk to the jarl and there is a week vampire near a burned down house.
