it makesCAD/CAM about 30% faster...altough i used Space Ball from logitech on my job...for home i guess i will buy this one...the thing is, i dont know how much better is pro version from this personal...

lol, students, because they need it, eg for 3D modelling. Students in car-engineering or machine-building work a lot with catia and so a 3d mouse is very useful

you CAN use them for gaming as well hehe. really hard, but it's kinda cool. especially as you never have to use WASD ever again. ^^

Just throwing this out there. EDSF is way better then WSAD because it puts your pinky in a place where it can hit q a z(which could be assigned to things such as grenades or whatnot) without having to move your hand. Try it out sometime once you get used to it you'll never go back. Sadly you'l have to change the default settings every time you get a new game though.

1)Can you use this as a simple mouse, to navigate from application, to application?

2)What are all of the buttons other than x,y,z axis and what do they do?

I'm an engineer and i use this mouse every day for CAD programs like NX, Solid Edge and Pro E. I really like it. It makes me to draw faster. :)

Podczas testu można było łato wyłapać z Twojego głosu polski akcent ;) Upewniłem się całkowicie w tym przekonaniu jak zobaczyłem instalator "instalacja powiodła się".

Ogólnie bardzo przydatne urządzenie wskazujące do programów 3D. Chociaż jako zapalony gracz chciałbym zobaczyć grę z obsługą tego maleństwa ;)

Hehe akurat to urzadzenie do gier przystosowane nie jest ale to ciekawy target. może kiedyś przygotują specjalna edycje dla graczy , mozna by tak np. kontroloac tylko widok glowa lub zmiane broni :D

That mouse look's well cool,a little unuseual,never seen anything like it yet until now,and i think the price is so good considering the developement that went into it in the first place,Excellent review there martin,top job done there m8 :-)

Yeah it is kind of strange product focused mostly on engineering market ( I just can't imagine myself working without it )but as I said there is a great product for home use also in almost every app that you will normally use :)
