Bro. Joshua, this is great to see someone doing something to remember the "Guy with the Goods,Georgie Woods'. I remember meeting Mr. Woods when I was a student at Simon Gratz H.S.. He was easy to talk to,I almost couldn't believe that I was standing next to "Georgie Woods". Also I knew your father Maurice before the Tabulations became known. I used to hang out at 12th and Cumberland, and I think that Brenda's family used to live in that area on Huntingdon St. GREAT WORK! Thanks so much!
BRAVO!!! Thank you for this brilliant, informative & poignant documentary of the late-great Georgie Woods. As a white kid growing up in Lancaster, PA, I was able to pull in WDAS & WHAT on my radio, and faithfully listened to his shows. I still play the 2 albums you feature in your video. As a musician, Mr. Woods had a great impact on my life. He always presented the finest soul music of the day. I look forward to your film & wish you the best of luck. Thanx for this loving tribute to a great man
In the 60's as a kid, my best memories of goin' to Philly was to see my Big Sister & to listen to Georgie Woods on WDAS! I also remember goin' to the Uptown Theater to see the Five Stairsteps & Others -- to add to a "A Lifetime of Musical Memories!" Peace Be Unto Mr. Georgie Woods & His Philadelphia Legacy!

Say It!
In the 70s,
it was Corn Flakes & Georgie Woods every morning before school.
You don't even realize how much you are blessing us by pursuing this project.
I remember his TV show and his song AM I BLACK ENOUGH FOR YOU.
