@desimunda116 Because it's a turbocharged engine. and a great supercar has a naturally aspirated engine.

The last R8 GT have a 5.2L V10 producing 560 hp, and one of the greatest sounds ever, all of that without turbochargers.

Top Gear.. Please make a reviw about a car like this abit more detailed and serious. The review is ok, good filming and stuff.. But, I am disapointed cause i wanted to know more about the car, listen to the engine and know more about chassie and electronic options. I got none of that in this clip...

In my opinion this reviw is failing. Its a RS6 your driving!..

so what have we learnt that two french blokes on skies with shutes can get down quicker than Richard Hammond in a very fast Audi and on the down Richard can't navigate for toffee and the Audi would would have won if driven by some one who can read a map and road signs. but still a very good clip and awesome car.

The extra power is lost through the drivetrain. The audi has to drive all four wheels while the the mighty m5 is rear wheel drive only . The m5 is definately more fun (steer from the rear)

Yeah, man don't buy one. They understeer, and the M5's top speed is 1 MPH faster than the RS 6, even with 64 more HP over the M5 with a twin-turbo V10. The M5 is N/A and it's still faster. (Sad for a twin-turbo V10 compared to a N/A V10 with 0.2 L smaller engine)

Buy a BMW or a Merc. Preferably a Bimmer, it's more fun.

The Audi isn't more practical - luggage space is pretty much the same as the M5 Touring. The M5 came along before the M3, so that point's rubbish, as was your first about practicality.

As for the engine sound, that's a matter of opinion. I think the M5 sounds like the room where the god of thunder practices shouting!

I agree with you - the Audi may have much more power, but where does that power go? 0-60 time is the same as the M5 Touring, and top speed is, as you said, 1 mph slower. Besides, any road, any track, my money would be on the M5.

If you want a mad estate car, I still think the BMW M5 Touring is the best. It's cheaper, more practical, and better to drive than the Audi (Clarkson said it's "one of the most exciting cars you can buy today".) Don't get me wrong - the RS6 is still very good. But despite having nearly 70 more horsepower, it has the same 0-62 time and delimited the same top speed as the M5.

You are still forgetting,that in these conditions as the Audi was in,BMW would be all over the road and wouldnt do shit,because it only has rear wheel drive.Audi has all wheel permanent drive,which means,that if BMW is stuck in the snow,Audi would easily go on.

True, I will concede the Audi is better in the snow. I wouldn't blame anyone for choosing the RS6, but if it were my money I'd buy the M5.

Anyway, both the Audi RS6 and BMW M5 are way better than that stupid Cadillac CTS-V. Can you have that as an estate? No. Does Cadillac have any racing pedigree? No.
