I like how this is filmed... it looks like a compilation of the band's "home videos". Large chunks of it is footage of the audience, and it's pretty interesting to watch their various expressions. My favorite one is towards the end when the music is about to wane at 8 minutes, you see someone with their head bent down and pressed against folded hands, appearing pleasantly exhausted and spiritually uplifted. I only wish these crowds liked moshing, because the music really asks for it sometimes.

saw them yesterday in lisbon... didnt went for moonlight on their concert......... they still need more composing evolution and to better explode in terms of sound in my opinion. still, they were wonderful.

por cierto, acerca de las bandas que tocan similar... yo creo que cada quien tiene un estilo particular y todas son buenisimas tanto Mogwai como Sigur y Mono, e incluso existe una banda Chilena que anda rozando este estilo de tocar, se llaman El Diablo, y de ves en cuando se presentan en México, se los recomiendo para los que les gusta este género...
una de las mejores bandas de rock que he escuchado en vivo... tuve la oportunidad de verlos cuando vinieron a México y suenan excelente... a parte de todo son personas sencillas, pude cruzar unas palabras con Taka (guitarrista) y su sencillez lo hace aun mejor...

La gent tiende a idolatrar e inmortalizar lo que ya fué. Tiene que ver con un sentido de melancolía y nostalgia. Por eso a veces es difícil de creer o suena descabellado cuando alguien asegure que MONO sean mejores que Mozart (en este caso) Decir q MONO es mejor, estoy de acuerdo, es fanatismo. Pero contestar y asegurar que no es así, es caer en el mismo error.

Y la última vez que chequé, MONO y yoda en particular, sí componen sus propias canciones. No sé por qué alguien diría q lo que hacen no es "propio".

Incredible video! I love the japanese crowd the most, standing there so calmly, taking the music in. I really need to go to one of their shows, bands like this playing live are just fucking amazing, the atmospheres they induce is like nothing on the CD. Actually being surrounded by the music has a much... bigger feeling.
I saw them live a few months ago. It was one of the single most amazing things I have ever experienced. You're absolutely right about the music having a much bigger feeling, but it does more - it tears into you, whether you want it to or not, and it doesn't leave. Eventually your mind stops and all that exists is the music. The two hours seemed like two days. It was incredible.
I can't see the moonlight but love.
