Unless you work for the DFT or CAA I think your opinion of lack of safety is pretty lame. How do you think Flight crew manage on a longhaul flight without leaving the cockpit to go to the toilet?!!! My only opinion would be the galley would benefit from a curtain but there are strict protocols with regards to safety of the flight deck and I see no problem here. You are one of thousands of passengers that think they know it all and try and pick fault. Stick to what you know.....
Its obvious to me that BIGTED570 has no grasp of security , saying the door can be closed in seconds is the same as saying you can dodge a train with feet to spare
The simple answer to all the nay sayers is this THE DOOR SHOULD NEVER BE OPENED
And then we have the heros who will intervene ? they will most likely not even realise something has gone wrong until the plane is hurtling towards the ground / target
(cont) there is no safety issue here at all. The door is quickly and easily locked and the presence of a cabin crew member in the way is enough of a slow down to get the door locked even in the worse case. Even if there are (as mentioned in a previous comment) 4 men - you can only just get one person in that space between the toilet and the flight deck. And as for letting someone into the loo before returning to the flight deck, it's polite, the toilet door blocks the flight deck door when open.
(cont) even at the door yet. So to be quicker they stand around near the door, as it's unlocked they make a move. Bang door locked and they've maybe got to the cabin crew member. If they move before the door's unlocked, the person in the flight deck won't open it. Now apparently they can carry ceramic knives - makes no difference, in fact it's probably harder to shift someone you've just stabbed out of the way than a person moving towards you to make an effort to block you. (cont)
Right lets look at your concerns. Firstly this is standard safety procedures so no issue there. Now our terrorists have decided to use the toilet break as an opportunity. We'll start by assuming the flight deck door can be closed and locked in a couple of seconds - it can - so they'll have to be in row 1. So to help they'll all need to be in row 1 to stop other passengers interfering. The door is buzzed and unlocked they leap from row 1, and bang door is closed and locked and they're not (cont)

@darlingdavid1 I do have a perfect plan , this would mean losing a few seats and giving the flight deck its own toilet , I would be more than willing to pay for the lost seating on my fare
It makse sense to me , not sure why so many think i am worrying about nothing
@antipike, I think you'll find that easyJet's is one of the only british airlines that has an extra policy of having a crew member there to guard the flight deck door when it is open. As you view easyJet as an airline which lacks a suitable security procedure I'm sure you'll be able to tell me when a passenger has been able to breach the flight deck, oh they haven't have they...no! Get your facts before you start talking about stuff you know nothing about.
@darlingdavid1 You really are stupid , why allow the cockpit door to open whilst inflight at all ? Total lack of common sense
Its pure luck that the flightdeck hasnt been breached in this way as there is nothing standing in the way of anyone wanting to do so , Oh and if there was by chance a member of the crew keeping look it would most likely be a 7 stone woman with no specialist training in how to disarm a terrorist
@antipike are you stupid? There is always a crew member to guard the flight deck door when we are airbourne. We have three cameras, a spy hole, a pin-lock on the door and the captain inside the flight deck can deny entry at any time. How do you expect the flight deck to eat? How to you expect them to pee? And if there was an emergency and both of the pilots were incapacitated, I suppose we still wouldn't be allowed to use the flight deck door then too, eh? Stupid prick, get your facts right.
@ginokins There is not always a crew member when the cockpit door opens THIS i have seen with my own eyes , What i would like all airlines to do is cordon off a part of the plane and give the cockpit crew a toilet for their own use , as for food I am sure they can manage to bring their own food to work like most of us have to do OR give them food through a cat flap
Your the stupid one for lying about the inadequate security , I will be taking my camera phone on ALL of my flights in the future
Just got back from cyprus and flew with thompson , 4 times the cockpit door was opened and at one time ( the last time ) the crew where at the very rear of the plane whilst one of the cockpit crew hepled himself to coffee , This is a joke , we jump through so many hoops in the name of security to only have it thrown away by moronic crew members
If anybody wanted to take the time to get up, and get to the cockpit and try to get in, the door could simply be slammed shut quickly (flight deck doors will lock automatically)
I see nothing against procedures in this video! I can't understand how you could keep a sterile cockpit in a long haul flight: pilots are also men and they have their needs. In this case there were also two F/As protecting the door.... Let's try not to be always polemical!!!!
@besinnliches I expect them to have toilet facilities that only they can use IE take out 6 seats and It would be easy to retrofit a toilet , what price our safety , I would willingly pay extra to be safe , as it is we are not safe in the sky whilst the crews carry on with this moronic action
@antipike 6 seats per flight, 6 or even 8 flights per day, in the case of easyJet 186 aircraft. That's a monstrous amount of lost revenue for a security risk which is, at best, entirely minimal. You'll note that when the pilot isn't moving into or out of the cockpit the door remains securely locked.
@besinnliches Cost should not come into it when safety should be paramount , if you look at the number of seats on these budget airlines it would only be an extra 5 to 6 £ per passenger
Seriously though a toilet break could be the death of hundreds of people ? maybe thousands if the plane is used as a weapon and your ok with that
@antipike What would be far more likely to cause danger to the lives of those aboard is a pilot whose concentration is diverted from flying the aircraft due to the fact that s/he is bursting for a piss. The door is guarded in such a way that the time required to force entry is easily enough for the cockpit door to be closed. Molehills and mountains spring to mind!
@besinnliches You have no concept of security , Me i am very aware of the shortcomings on these flights , For you information sometimes there is NO ONE guarding the cockpit door when the flight crew take a leak
@antipike You're not seeing a security problem, you're seeing a crew member get out to go to the toilet whilst another guards the door. There is nothing there to be seen.
We go through checks to make sure we're carrying guns or explosives, not to give us a brain scan and determine if we might be tempted to jump out of our seat and storm the cockpit...
stupid asshole!!Procedure done correctly, and theres no security where..?next time maybe the pilot will piss by flight deck window no??my god..so dumbs!!
You do realize that a terrorist can't teleport to the door, right? They have to get up from their seat, and cover a few strides, even in the first row of the cabin. If you're guarding the door, do you think that you would A. Close the door upon seeing somebody approaching it, or B leave it open and let somebody in? Besides, while a cabin crew member couldn't hold off an armed attacker for long, they do block the door, dead or alive, long enough for the door to be closed. Two masses cannot o
Nothing wrong in this video. All Standard Operating Procedures have been done. A crew member is guarding the flight deck door. The flight crew, who is entering the flight deck, is waiting so that his colleague inside the cockpit can check on the 3 cameras. Then he unlocked the door and he came in in just 2 seconds and automatically the flight door will be locked when closed.
LOL what a way to overrreact my goodness! Btw, I am flying to Sharm with Easyjet next sunday (Have flown with Easyjet and many other airlines many times) and I am not one bit worried that the cockpit door might be opened for the captain to pee...hee hee...FFS get a grip!
@filthiestfish This is the moronic posts I love the most , you simply cannot see the glaring hole in the security , 4 LIKE MINDED men could very easily over power any cabin crew IF and when the door opens , how you cant see this is beyond me . Never open that door inflight is the only real option , if that means less seats then so be it AS i would willingly pay more to fly SAFELY
I obviously can't see what you can. The door was open for just 2 seconds while the captain walked in, with not one but two crew members standing in the galley while he did it. And being curious to know more, after a few emails I found out that the door would have to be unlocked from the inside by the other Member of the flight deck. It's not just left open, it's always locked except for when the engines are off.
I can understand you think it's a weak part in security but it's not a total la
Nothing wrong with that, if you gotta go you gotta go. The crew stood so he could see the cabin to see if anyone approached and made sure that the toilet door would be closed while the flight deck door was open. And as some one said, I don't think people would just sit and watch while some one tried to push past any Crew to get to the door.
@JamesJas85 Yes i am aware of the lack of inflight security , you may call it paranoia , Once the hijackers are in the cockpit it will be all over for everyone on the plane , This should be addressed asap as its the biggest failing in the security loop
i dont think hijackers are going to rely on the pilots bladded to get into the cockpit! if they really wanted to get in they would they would plan a way to get thru the door months in advance and would find some loop hole! But if they did i think passengers today would fight back any hijackers after what they wintessed in9/11!Before that hijackers did crash planes! If a plane was hijacked now all people would think is9/11 and do what it takes to prevent that!
@Locker10a This is the best reply ever , And it is my mindset now when i fly , hence the reason why I am pissed off at the pathetic security inflight , 5 stars to you
I worked for another UK airline where by no crew member guarded the flightdeck door. What you see above is perfectly fine. Having the seatbelt sign on etc is no good as it relies upon it being observed and obviously those with terroist intent won't. Sounds like a load of people talking about something they know nothing about.
SOP normally is, u can open the door but all pax must remain seated (seatbelt sign on) so the use of toilets is not permitted, among other procedures. I dont understand why they opened the toilet for that passenger... btw, @antipike, taking over the cockpit wouldnt be *that* easy if all procedures are followed and the crew is vigilant..
@mgarin86 The seat belt sign wasnt on , What i find worrying is that our lives are worth less than a bank vaults contents , you try walking into your local banks vault and see how far you get
This could be simplified by giving the crew their own toilet which would mean the loss of only 2 to 3 seats , Stick the cost onto those travelling ( i would pay more for better security ) , have a cat flap for food trays
Everytime that door opens is one step closer to a using the plane as a weapon
easyJet are the only airline to stand infront of the flight deck door whilst allowing another crew member access to the Flightdeck or Cabin. As for this curtain, I would love to see where it say's that you NEED a curtain? Perhaps if you look at the layout of the cabin you could suggest where to put one? After all, if they had to evacuate you can't have a curtain in the way of the exits!? No lack of inflight security here. I wonder if you got permission to film this?
@GavinBowles18 This is a glaring lax in security if you think its ok then and you can accept that then fine ... But i would welcome the chance to challenge this in an open court , and no i didnt ask for permission ? why should i if its secure its secure .. BUT it isnt secure is it ... if two MEN of a certain size and mentallity decided to take the cockpit NOTHING could stop them ... never open the cockpit is the only option ... Waiting for that knock on my door so the media can take it further
@antipike Ill think you''ll find the crew would be trained to stop people from getting in the flightdeck, that's why they stand in front of the door. Trust me, no one would get into the flightdeck! If we were to never open the door, how would the flight crew be fed and watered? And Permission, because its illegal to film within an aircraft with the carriers permission,a nd more to the point, the crew of this flight may not want to be on youtube?
@GavinBowles18 Trust me no amount of training would enable the flight crew to be able to stop 2 ( it may be more ) Trained men with ceramic knives from entering that cockpit ... loose some seats and give the flightdeck a dedicated toilet / kitchen , I would willingly pay more to enable this to happen .. As for asking the carriers permission to flim ? are you mad , I am blowing the whistle on them so asking permission would be very stupid
@antipike Trust me... I think I know what I'm talking about when I say Crew are trained to deal with this... to get a knife onboard a plane is VERY hard these days! And considering the space between the flightdeck door and cabin is only big enough for one person, then they won't be getting in! By the time it takke sfor a hijacker to run upto the door, it will already be shut! There is no lack of security here
@GavinBowles18 You really have no clue do you ,CERAMIC / GRP . knives are made now so they dont show up on the metal detectors you need to do some homework on what is out there freely available to the public
If i was given immunity I could show how easy it would be to take over the cockpit but if i do that now i would be locked up simply for showing how easy it would be ... Lock those doors and keep them locked else its only a matter of time before another plane is taken and used as a weapon
You IDIOT! Y can you not see the cabin crew guard the flight deck door when it is opened? There is ALWAYS a cabin crew member present to guard the door. When that passenger and child moved toward the toilet - the flight deck door was locked shut and only the toilet door was open. There is NO risk to security. A lot of curtains are now removed to make the front of the aircraft more open. Do you think if those pax on the 9/11 planes could see what was going on they would have done something?
You IDIOT! Y can you not see the cabin crew guard the flight deck door when it is opened? There is ALWAYS a cabin crew member present to guard the door. When that passenger and child moved toward the toilet - the flight deck door was locked shut and only the toilet door was open. There is NO risk to security. The flight deck door remained shut and when it was opened would have had a cabin crew member guarding it which you can CLEARLY SEE.
Elal airlines have double doors .... the below is the result of someone on the inside spilling the beans on toilet breaks .... someone has to speak out about this stupid moronic practice of lazy security
However, if crew members actually stick to security procedures it should be enough to prevent a rush by passengers when the door is opened, right?
"No," says Larry Martens, president of Crupax Security, an innovative firm based in Ottawa, Canada. "If a terrorist were ready to attack when the cockpit door is opened he could gain access to the flight deck very quickly and lock the door behind him...because cockpit doors are impervious to forcible entry even air marshals couldnt get to him..
LOL.Yet another Illiterate, ignorant yob hiding behind anonymity so he can use abusive language against anyone with different opinion. Your all mouth mate, you carry on hiding behind your computer. I don’t reckon you are mentally or physically able to make any kind of point in life. Anyway I think if you did try anything on an aircraft your carer or your mum would stop you before you embarrassed yourself, but it would be funny to watch, you shouting " curtains curtains they got no curtains" lol
@jat319 If your happy with zero security whilst inflight then fine... I can see a massive security problem here and it needs addressing asap...... Curtains are what they recommend so no one can see the flight crew chatting the trolly dollys up
The airlines are a joke .... we jump through so many security hoops only to have it fail on the plane itself .... this is way beyond opinions .... peoples lives are at risk ...
I would be very careful posting a video like this, as the authorities could interpret it as some kind of reconnaissance/ planning video for something more sinister to be attempted in the future. You really have no idea what your talking about, but if you feel you have a point to make, and you are so concerned about in flight security in the UK then I suggest you contact your local MP the DFT or the CAA. You seem a very paranoid type of person so maybe just stay in bed; you should be safe there!
There's absolutely NO breach in security exposed here, the crew are following procedures correctly, and in accordance with strict guidelines set down by the DFT. I think you'll find that most pilots, whichever airline need the toilet at some point on a 3-hour flight..... con't
@jat319 Where is the curtain you thick cunt ? ...... they are meant to draw a curtain so we cant see what is going on ..... If this happens on any other flights i will be going into that cockpit for sure ..... JUST TO PROVE A POINT ... fuck the consequences
they are just guarding the door, there are 3 cameras up there and the crew are there for additional securiy, so actually they are being more safety conscious than alot of airlines who just rely on the cameras.
@caf86 No they are not guarding anything as they where there 5 mins before he came out and 15 mins after ... they where messing about in the galley as the heater for the food wasnt working ..... There is meant to be a curtain to stop anyone knowing what is going on
If i was of a mind too i could easily have taken control of this plane .... its only a matter of time before some mad islamic decides to do just that with this lack of security
@thomase1 In the olden days no one was using planes as weapons ... what is the point of security if its none existent once in the air .... They ( the airlines ) need to up the security on the planes by giving the flight deck its own toilet .... lose two or three seats and put the cost onto the passengers
@antipike lol. I just don't see it as the be all end all issue. yeah, maybe not the most sensible thing in today's world...but ultimately, if someone is going to hi jack a plane, they're going to hi jack a plane.
Used to be a time you could go into a flight deck, Then the airlines bullshited us all on the inside jobs that bush and blair set up.

Just got back from cyprus and flew with thompson , 4 times the cockpit door was opened and at one time ( the last time ) the crew where at the very rear of the plane whilst one of the cockpit crew hepled himself to coffee , This is a joke , we jump through so many hoops in the name of security to only have it thrown away by moronic crew members
antipike 6 months ago
If anybody wanted to take the time to get up, and get to the cockpit and try to get in, the door could simply be slammed shut quickly (flight deck doors will lock automatically)
PixellatedMe 6 months ago
I see nothing against procedures in this video! I can't understand how you could keep a sterile cockpit in a long haul flight: pilots are also men and they have their needs. In this case there were also two F/As protecting the door.... Let's try not to be always polemical!!!!
stefano8292 7 months ago
The moment the cockpit door is opened is the moment ALL of the security hoops we jump threw become a total waste of time
Those that fail to see the obvious are either working for easy jet OR are not security minded people
Lock it for the full duration of the flight is the only option
antipike 8 months ago
@antipike And what do you suggest the flight crew do if they need to go to the toilet?
besinnliches 6 months ago
@besinnliches I expect them to have toilet facilities that only they can use IE take out 6 seats and It would be easy to retrofit a toilet , what price our safety , I would willingly pay extra to be safe , as it is we are not safe in the sky whilst the crews carry on with this moronic action
antipike 6 months ago
@antipike 6 seats per flight, 6 or even 8 flights per day, in the case of easyJet 186 aircraft. That's a monstrous amount of lost revenue for a security risk which is, at best, entirely minimal. You'll note that when the pilot isn't moving into or out of the cockpit the door remains securely locked.
besinnliches 6 months ago
@besinnliches Cost should not come into it when safety should be paramount , if you look at the number of seats on these budget airlines it would only be an extra 5 to 6 £ per passenger
Seriously though a toilet break could be the death of hundreds of people ? maybe thousands if the plane is used as a weapon and your ok with that
antipike 6 months ago
@antipike What would be far more likely to cause danger to the lives of those aboard is a pilot whose concentration is diverted from flying the aircraft due to the fact that s/he is bursting for a piss. The door is guarded in such a way that the time required to force entry is easily enough for the cockpit door to be closed. Molehills and mountains spring to mind!
besinnliches 6 months ago
@besinnliches You have no concept of security , Me i am very aware of the shortcomings on these flights , For you information sometimes there is NO ONE guarding the cockpit door when the flight crew take a leak
antipike 6 months ago
@antipike And you have no concept of being reasonable. It's not practical, it's not necessary to have a special crew toilet. End of story.
besinnliches 6 months ago
@besinnliches I am one of the most reasoned people you would ever meet, If i see a security problem then it is there and not fictitous
Why do we go through so many security checks ?
antipike 6 months ago
@antipike You're not seeing a security problem, you're seeing a crew member get out to go to the toilet whilst another guards the door. There is nothing there to be seen.
We go through checks to make sure we're carrying guns or explosives, not to give us a brain scan and determine if we might be tempted to jump out of our seat and storm the cockpit...
besinnliches 6 months ago
@besinnliches Your assuming there is always someone on guard but this is not the case

Two masses cannot o
coolmanak 8 months ago
Nothing wrong in this video. All Standard Operating Procedures have been done. A crew member is guarding the flight deck door. The flight crew, who is entering the flight deck, is waiting so that his colleague inside the cockpit can check on the 3 cameras. Then he unlocked the door and he came in in just 2 seconds and automatically the flight door will be locked when closed.
So before saying bullshits, just think.
sonaquil 9 months ago 15
@sonaquil Theres nothing like an old fool , open the door = no security end of story really
Do you really think the crew that are there could stop an attack on an open cockpit door ?
antipike 9 months ago
@antipike Yes, for sure.

LOL what a way to overrreact my goodness! Btw, I am flying to Sharm with Easyjet next sunday (Have flown with Easyjet and many other airlines many times) and I am not one bit worried that the cockpit door might be opened for the captain to pee...hee hee...FFS get a grip!
filthiestfish 10 months ago 7
@filthiestfish This is the moronic posts I love the most , you simply cannot see the glaring hole in the security , 4 LIKE MINDED men could very easily over power any cabin crew IF and when the door opens , how you cant see this is beyond me . Never open that door inflight is the only real option , if that means less seats then so be it AS i would willingly pay more to fly SAFELY
ffs get a grip
antipike 10 months ago
I obviously can't see what you can. The door was open for just 2 seconds while the captain walked in, with not one but two crew members standing in the galley while he did it. And being curious to know more, after a few emails I found out that the door would have to be unlocked from the inside by the other Member of the flight deck. It's not just left open, it's always locked except for when the engines are off.
I can understand you think it's a weak part in security but it's not a total la
JamesJas85 10 months ago
@JamesJas85 2 Seconds is 2 second too much , if you really think that the physically lacking cabin crew could contain an attack then more fool you .
I want the cockpit door closed for the entire flight , if it costs more then so be it
antipike 10 months ago
Nothing wrong with that, if you gotta go you gotta go. The crew stood so he could see the cabin to see if anyone approached and made sure that the toilet door would be closed while the flight deck door was open. And as some one said, I don't think people would just sit and watch while some one tried to push past any Crew to get to the door.
Think your just a bit paranoid mate
JamesJas85 10 months ago
@JamesJas85 Yes i am aware of the lack of inflight security , you may call it paranoia , Once the hijackers are in the cockpit it will be all over for everyone on the plane , This should be addressed asap as its the biggest failing in the security loop
antipike 10 months ago
i dont think hijackers are going to rely on the pilots bladded to get into the cockpit! if they really wanted to get in they would they would plan a way to get thru the door months in advance and would find some loop hole! But if they did i think passengers today would fight back any hijackers after what they wintessed in9/11!Before that hijackers did crash planes! If a plane was hijacked now all people would think is9/11 and do what it takes to prevent that!
Locker10a 10 months ago
@Locker10a This is the best reply ever , And it is my mindset now when i fly , hence the reason why I am pissed off at the pathetic security inflight , 5 stars to you
antipike 10 months ago
I worked for another UK airline where by no crew member guarded the flightdeck door. What you see above is perfectly fine. Having the seatbelt sign on etc is no good as it relies upon it being observed and obviously those with terroist intent won't. Sounds like a load of people talking about something they know nothing about.
mcrry 11 months ago
SOP normally is, u can open the door but all pax must remain seated (seatbelt sign on) so the use of toilets is not permitted, among other procedures. I dont understand why they opened the toilet for that passenger... btw, @antipike, taking over the cockpit wouldnt be *that* easy if all procedures are followed and the crew is vigilant..
mgarin86 11 months ago
@mgarin86 The seat belt sign wasnt on , What i find worrying is that our lives are worth less than a bank vaults contents , you try walking into your local banks vault and see how far you get
This could be simplified by giving the crew their own toilet which would mean the loss of only 2 to 3 seats , Stick the cost onto those travelling ( i would pay more for better security ) , have a cat flap for food trays
Everytime that door opens is one step closer to a using the plane as a weapon
antipike 11 months ago
@antip2 yo 3 seats? at least 3 never mind the extra few hundred kgs wasted for 4 crew i think not
Aviationnation10 11 months ago
easyJet are the only airline to stand infront of the flight deck door whilst allowing another crew member access to the Flightdeck or Cabin.
GavinBowles18 1 year ago
@GavinBowles18 This is a glaring lax in security if you think its ok then and you can accept that then fine ... But i would welcome the chance to challenge this in an open court , and no i didnt ask for permission ? why should i if its secure its secure .. BUT it isnt secure is it ... if two MEN of a certain size and mentallity decided to take the cockpit NOTHING could stop them ... never open the cockpit is the only option ... Waiting for that knock on my door so the media can take it further
antipike 1 year ago
@antipike Ill think you''ll find the crew would be trained to stop people from getting in the flightdeck, that's why they stand in front of the door. Trust me, no one would get into the flightdeck! If we were to never open the door, how would the flight crew be fed and watered? And Permission, because its illegal to film within an aircraft with the carriers permission,a nd more to the point, the crew of this flight may not want to be on youtube?
GavinBowles18 1 year ago
@GavinBowles18 Trust me no amount of training would enable the flight crew to be able to stop 2 ( it may be more ) Trained men with ceramic knives from entering that cockpit ... loose some seats and give the flightdeck a dedicated toilet / kitchen , I would willingly pay more to enable this to happen .. As for asking the carriers permission to flim ? are you mad , I am blowing the whistle on them so asking permission would be very stupid
see you in court eh ... The crew are the problem
antipike 1 year ago
@antipike Trust me... I think I know what I'm talking about when I say Crew are trained to deal with this... to get a knife onboard a plane is VERY hard these days! And considering the space between the flightdeck door and cabin is only big enough for one person, then they won't be getting in! By the time it takke sfor a hijacker to run upto the door, it will already be shut! There is no lack of security here
GavinBowles18 1 year ago
@GavinBowles18 You really have no clue do you ,CERAMIC / GRP . knives are made now so they dont show up on the metal detectors you need to do some homework on what is out there freely available to the public
If i was given immunity I could show how easy it would be to take over the cockpit but if i do that now i would be locked up simply for showing how easy it would be ... Lock those doors and keep them locked else its only a matter of time before another plane is taken and used as a weapon
antipike 1 year ago
antpike - can you please show me the ICAO or EASA document which states that a curtain must be present?
n2203200 1 year ago
Do you think if those pax on the 9/11 planes could see what was going on they would have done something?
n2203200 1 year ago

Elal airlines have double doors .... the below is the result of someone on the inside spilling the beans on toilet breaks .... someone has to speak out about this stupid moronic practice of lazy security
antipike 1 year ago

Anyway I think if you did try anything on an aircraft your carer or your mum would stop you before you embarrassed yourself, but it would be funny to watch, you shouting " curtains curtains they got no curtains" lol
jat319 1 year ago
@jat319 If your happy with zero security whilst inflight then fine... I can see a massive security problem here and it needs addressing asap...... Curtains are what they recommend so no one can see the flight crew chatting the trolly dollys up
The airlines are a joke .... we jump through so many security hoops only to have it fail on the plane itself .... this is way beyond opinions .... peoples lives are at risk ...
antipike 1 year ago
I would be very careful posting a video like this, as the authorities could interpret it as some kind of reconnaissance/ planning video for something more sinister to be attempted in the future. You really have no idea what your talking about, but if you feel you have a point to make, and you are so concerned about in flight security in the UK then I suggest you contact your local MP the DFT or the CAA. You seem a very paranoid type of person so maybe just stay in bed; you should be safe there!
jat319 1 year ago
@jat319 I hope they do as it needs addressing ..... I would willingly do time in jail to get the lax security out in the open
Mps contaced and fuck all happened .... paranoid or aware .... fuck you and the errr plane you flew in on
antipike 1 year ago
There's absolutely NO breach in security exposed here, the crew are following procedures correctly, and in accordance with strict guidelines set down by the DFT. I think you'll find that most pilots, whichever airline need the toilet at some point on a 3-hour flight..... con't
jat319 1 year ago
@jat319 Where is the curtain you thick cunt ? ...... they are meant to draw a curtain so we cant see what is going on ..... If this happens on any other flights i will be going into that cockpit for sure ..... JUST TO PROVE A POINT ... fuck the consequences
antipike 1 year ago
That was perfectly normal.
stonecold319 1 year ago
@stonecold319 So will it be normal when someone manages to get into the cockpit ? Security is none existent
antipike 1 year ago
they are just guarding the door, there are 3 cameras up there and the crew are there for additional securiy, so actually they are being more safety conscious than alot of airlines who just rely on the cameras.
caf86 1 year ago
@caf86 No they are not guarding anything as they where there 5 mins before he came out and 15 mins after ... they where messing about in the galley as the heater for the food wasnt working ..... There is meant to be a curtain to stop anyone knowing what is going on
If i was of a mind too i could easily have taken control of this plane .... its only a matter of time before some mad islamic decides to do just that with this lack of security
antipike 1 year ago
In the olden days you could have a little tour of the cockpit....so, big deal.
If someone wants to take over the plane some stewardess standing outside the door when it's opening isn't going to stop them.
thomase1 1 year ago
@thomase1 In the olden days no one was using planes as weapons ... what is the point of security if its none existent once in the air .... They ( the airlines ) need to up the security on the planes by giving the flight deck its own toilet .... lose two or three seats and put the cost onto the passengers
antipike 1 year ago
@antipike lol. Are you really that ignorant? All the recent bomb scare stuff didn't happen because the co-pilot had a small bladder lol.
