I own it and i cant complain. I drove the the gti and its lackluster compared to this. If you have shitty roads get a gti but if the bumpyness doesnt bother you. Get the mazda, i find the gti too underpowered for the price. If it had 20plus hp i would have definitely bought it.

I wish my 2011 tC came in a faster trim level from the dealer. I have it turbo'd up, so it's a lot faster than this now, but I hate having to aftermarket it up. This car is so ridiculously horrible, doesn't sell worth shit, handles like trash, has a goofy-ass smile, is a mom-mobile grocery getter wagon, and has ricer tailights. Good job MAHZDA

@beccaWifey The Mazdaspeed3 spanks the Rustang. Mustangs are no longer the standard and haven't been since the early 90's. Most people are scared to race this car, it's quick on the street. Even quicker on the track. Where else can you get a trak ready car brand new for such a low price?

Why does everyone bash the nav screen? I love it, its small and sleek and built nicely into the dash and doesnt look like a ugly tv in the middle of the dash.. Its also very vibrent and easy to read plus it has voice point to point.. I guess if you are blind and love to take your eyes off the road to look at a 10 inch then get a different car.

"Great looks"??? You've got to be kidding! Front end=EpicFAIL! The previous styling was classy and original, but the new design is childish and obvious Subaru wannabe. The '08 had chiseled lines, 2011 has strange soft curves that look oddly alien and out of proportion. I believe Mazda made a HUGE mistake with that front end theme. Also, the wheels are cheesy looking.

@shawnspeed3 i like the front of the 1st gens but the rest ill take the 2nd, gen1s wheels sucked are were lame as hell, i dislike the torque management of the gen2 but my beta accessport cured that, the gauge cluster in the gen2s is much better, except for having no temp light...

The reason that the states do not get hot/fast Euro cars is because americans don't want them. The Yanks prefer cadilacs and lincolns. Most americans are obese, and can't fit into a smaller car. Also, since most american men are homosexuals, they are more interested in cars that are prettier, as compared to pure function.
