I've played this game forever when I was a kid, and it was AWESOME! The music, the stereotypical sound effects, the graphics and animations.

I'm rolling a fatty in honor of this game, I'm gonna watch this all the way through tonight and laugh my ass off :D The part where they drive the car into the barn is just awesome :D

@KrassoSzoreny that was because in the prequel, maniac mansion, you could feed green tentacle the drink BEFORE the food, and you would be absolutely unable to continue, because you fed him the items in the wrong order.

Ah I luv the old lucasarts games, they have all elements of a a successful graphic adventure. Day of the Tentacle and sam and max were amongst the very first adventure games i ever played.

Along with grim fandango those are my two favorite graphic adventures. They hold a special place in my heart.

It's not as cartoony and fun looking as this game, no voice acting either, but it 's where it all started and a great game. Note. if you find the pc version of Maniac Mansion and it is placed in the correct location on your hard drive you will be able to play the full game on weird ed edisons computer in his room in this game!

@UltimateSonic899 the name of the first one is Maniac Mansion. But the game is horrible. Bad graphics, no music, no voices. And there are some dead ends. U can dye and be captured. Sometimes u need start the game again.

And BTW about the death and capturing you can always SAVE your game so you don't have to start the game over! And you can watch a walkthrou so you can complete the game if you have any hard times like I did at first!

Dosbox is an emulator that lets you run these old games in windows. ScummVM is another one specifically for this and other lucasarts games. I suggest you download ScummVM, since that is easier to setup. Just google for it, it's free.
