They profit, but the big guys on the top don't get as much as 'they should' in for profit. A lot of 'profit' is re invested into the business, rather than the shareholders. Non profits get the privilege to act as a charity, or a foundation aswell.

Its great to see Youtube working with registered charities across the UK, although i feel Youtube could do more financially and productively for them, as the video said, many do not yet know the power of the internet and Youtube / Google could take some steps towards helping these companies reach out to people on the internet.
